Hello. I use Autodesk 3DS Max 8 for modeling, rigging, animation, etc, for whatever projects I'm working on in Star Wars: Empire at War. Recently, I rerigged the stock Victory-class Star Destroyer model to be a Victory I-class, but when I export it to .alo, and this only happens while exporting to .alo, Max gives me this popup: I noticed on a previous export of a Dominator-class that I rigged from the stock model of the Star Destroyer from EaW that in the ALO Viewer, the shadow mesh appears green: I'm guessing that when I tried to render the texture to the model while I worked on it (Failed trying to find the proper settings) I changed a few vital settings on the shaders or in the menu. I can't for the life of me reverse this either. I've tried reinstalling max and all, still have the same problem. Is there anyway to fix this? -Lord Link |

Im thinking you may have had a windows service pack install something that might conflict with your plugin.. or another plugin is clashing with it. rather then a export that ruins your max after 1 run.. seems a little more likely its a new plugin or windows update.. though i could stand corrected as i dont have this particular game or version of max... though i run other versions with simmilar issues cropping up. -- Stress is when you wake up screaming & you realize you haven't fallen asleep yet. |

Thank you. I discovered my problem was that I had not reinstalled the Service Pack 3 that I need to use the plugin. All is well now, so thank you for helping! |
