I like the "American Idiot" song. Haven't heard anything else from them though.

granted greenday don't play amazing guitaring, but there songs are enjoyable to listen to

Yeah, their new cd is full of rock opera of sorts. Have you listened to "Jesus of Suburbia" off their new cd? It's frickin 9 minutes long

Yeah thats the thing... same with Blink 182... and the Offspring. All of their songs are incredibly easy to play, but they just work... I however have to be crazy and just like someone shredding someone screaming and a drummer on speed... but thats just me lol

Most of my regular songs last at -least- that!

I used to like greenday a few years back, owned quite a few of their albums, then got bored, so migrated to black metal ^_^ And here I shall stay!

From what I've heard, the American Idiot album just isn't like their good old stuff.. But then again, it's usually good that bands change, unlike some that keep pumping out record after record, boring the hell out of us but making huge sales, somehow.

I dunno I thought the song Time of Your Life was good I am not big on American Idiot.. that sounds really similar to all the other bands in the same genre and Green Day has always been known for their different styles of music.
