I, too, need help animating and skinmapping. I'm not too bad at skinning, though. Here's the situation - I've made a model "Qboard" for my mod to replace the old one I made that looks like a broken popsickle stick. It, too, is fairly simple - only 50 faces. Yet, I'm concerned that I'll never quite understand how to animate it correctly, or that I've mapped it so that it's difficult to skin. The most immediate question I have is: should I remap to make skinning easier? Did I do a poor job at mapping? Should I scale all the parts the same and make the board as flat as possible so others can make board skins quickly and easily? How can I do better? - Edited By sk8rgrl On Tue 3rd, Jun 2003 @ 9:50:09pm |
