Hi,

I'd like to have the ability to reply to reviews. My mod does not have many, but the one at the top of the list is inaccurate, in that it describes a problem which does not actually exist. If I, as the mod owner, could post a single reply to this review, things like this could be cleared up for new players, who are being given the wrong impression by this review.

Can it be done?

*Looks* They're all '10's, why would you care? :/

Because of this:

the only problem I had with it was that you didn't return to the home base after every mission, and all of the maps have to be played in order from easiest to hardest

This simply is not the case. The mission hub is very flexible, so players can play missions one at a time, or as campaigns, in any order, and in any combination, including a random selection system, if they choose. Somehow this player missed this entire system, and I'd like to have the opportunity to politely add a one-line reply to say that this is the case, as flexibility is one of the most important parts of the mod.

Such is the case for reviews, whether they're in magazines or online. If you really want to make an amendment, contact the author.

I'd suggest making a news post starting how the system works so people know. Maybe he looked & couldn't find out how to do it or that it existed. Autodownloads don't download txt/readme files normally & they could of gotten it that way (it's possible in source I'm assuming, it's in Q1/2 & HL1).

Rather then taking this as a bad review you could take away that maybe the particular functionality of your game/mod was not very clear and it is something that needs to be worked on. That's what I would take away from this.

You're absolutely right. When transmitting a signal, if the receiver fails to understand it's nearly always the sender's fault. I can now see a tutorial needs to be written about this issue.
