Hello IndieDB,
I'm not sure if I'm posting in the right forum- Please let me know! I'm developing my first indie game. Ever since I was a kid, I always dreamed of building and developing a game. Of course it was too far out of my reach since I didn't know a single thing about it. That didn't stop me from spending my childhood drawing and designing levels and characters. For some reason I thought when I grew up I would instantly know how to do everything--Boy was I wrong.

Around the age of 14 I started learning how to program, how to draw and how to compose and by the time I was 16 I decided to take everything I learned and put it into a playable interactive portfolio to display my graphical and musical assets as well as my "awesome" programming abilities. I called that game "Comik". I had a small group of friends whom I shared the game with and it was really exciting to see how they interacted with the world and made choices I didn't think of doing when I played it. When they felt accomplished after beating it-- I realized more then ever that I want to spend the rest of my life making people happy with video games. It's rewarding for everyone-- and to think I created this world, I defined the meaning of "cool" in this world and someone was in my world interacting. I didn't know what that feeling was.. either I was about to turn into a mad controlling scientist or I was just happy that I could make others happy. It was probably the ladder, though. ;)

That little game aroused my little body That little game got me pumped and ready to make something even better. So I spent the last 8 years developing and planning the most fantastic game. It went from being a little project into a huge vision. 2014 comes around and I decide it's time to officially start developing it. To this date I've established the game on Facebook and I'm planning on a KickStarter as soon as the team and I finishes developing the video. We're going to release the video on the Facebook page to show people what they're in for-- and soon after we'll start advertising the KickStarter.

I know there isn't much to see right now, but all I can give you is my word as a developer that we're working our butts off to make this game as amazing as it can be-- I know that isn't enough in itself to get funding-- but I would love your support on our Facebook page. I want to reach out to as many people as I can before we get our Project on the KickStarter. I will post the development on IndieDB as well as the KickStarter page once we get close enough to that point. In the meantime you can check out the page and see what's going on and in the next few days we should be sharing some of our recent in-game footage.

Thank you for taking the time to read this. With your support, we have a world of possibilities!
