Advance Wars RTS Thread

I think it would kick ass to have a mod for say, C&C Generals that is a total conversion of Advance Wars. You could design all the units easily enough, and the CO powers wouldn't be to hard to pull off either.

What do you think?

SA Advance Wars is a turnbased strategy game for the GBA. It is a really fun and some times annoying game (only when your losing)

and whats cool about the game, is that there are 4 continents on each is a different group, Orange Star, which resembles the United States, Green Earth, which resembles Nazi Germany, Yellow Comet, which resembles Japan, and Blue Moon which resembles the Soviet Uninon

i would help if you pulled together a team great fucking idea i was thinking of making one myself

well thats why i posted the idea, here in the forum... i have no modding skill so i wouldnt be able to do jack... though maybe you could do it

It isnt too hard to aquire modding skills, there are a bajillion tutorials out there. I learned how to map with Quark in less than a week. You could also learn MS3D, that is pretty simple. All in all, you will be happier that you did it in the end. Just give yourself a week or 2 to learn what interests you. Except coding, thats just evil
