Abes Exoddus editor exploained: Thread

Basically , there are 2 sides of the planet. Those who dont believe about the editor , and those who claim to have found it.
I actualy have not found it or believed its existance but i found out how some of the levels were made in production of the game (google never gets old huh)
The >>ENTIER<< screen you see in a area is just a photo , Abe is walking on a thin invisible 1 pixel line drawn in the editor , then we have some entity boxes that are items. If your PC is slower you can actualy see some items dissapear like the NPCs , Swiches , Wheels , and so on... thats cause these are the only things in the level , the rest is just plain photo.
Sorry to break your imagination this hard but it is true.

To be honest, I couldn't work out what you were even on about.

For those who are lookin for a editor to that game its pretty pointless , cause all levels are made of pictures n invisible lines.

I'm willing to bet that's how a lot of platformers work.

There would have been an editor for it, however limited. It was never released to the public, however.

They said they had plans to do it , but then it got ruined , maybe of bissnes reasons ?
Anyway , i allways tough (more ppl could too) that its a tile based generator.

Yea i know that , but the sad thing is that you can edit only entities , to make a complete level you would need to make the .cam file from scratch , so theres no tile based editor :[
