A question to Fallout 2 fans Thread

Anybody knows where can i get a XL70E3 from? I've been searching and searching, and i can't find the damn weapon anywhere.

You can XL70E3 in New California Republic (NCR). The small guy in the trading area has it, IIRC.

You get it so late that it is almost useless. It's sort of like a
high tech assault rifle. If you had gotten it in New Reno or
somewhere near there it would have been a bit useful, but late in the
game there are way better guns to use.

Yeah, i know the statistics, i'm just curious. It's easy to get a plasma rifle and power armor mk2 at the beginning of the game (BoS quest in San Fran)

The small guy in NCR hasn't got it - maybe he just gets it in the later part of the game, cause his inventory, and the new reno arms dealer's changes with time.

Also i've checked all people on the tanker, and they haven't got it either.
