Hi,

I have been working on Ninja Ball and was interested to find an artist for Ninja Ball 2 who is willing to do unpaid art.

The game is a maze game and has already been programmed.

Your name will be in the credits and the game will be played on several websites around the web.

If you want, I can give a file to edit, add, remove levels as you please after making the art for the game.

This is the current art (actual gameplay) screenshot.

I am sure nobody will want an unpaid job . At least put a low salary since it must be a small game

I think a few ppl will just for their name in the credits and the ability to say, 'yeah i worked on a game before' . At least if its a FTP game, but if your making money, then no, there will be no lineup of artists at your door.

What kind of art are you looking for, does the screen shot represent something along the lines of the final product, what kind of creative freedom does the artist have, what are some of the things that you will want/have in the maze? These are things most artists want to know.

I already found a good artist doing unpaid stuff.

You are right. It took me a lot of time before I finally found just one guy (he is a very good artist).

At least for this project here is what is happening.

There is a slight chance the project makes money, though I would say 90% it will not. Depends if the art is amazing though and somehow raises interest in this kind of game.

The artist is totally free to do whatever art he wants to do as a top-down art. Even something completely different from Ninja Ball.

The screenshot is already a live representation of the current game. The artist can work on the second game, Ninja Ball 2, or something completely different but with same top-down aspect and enemies.

If you ask me, I was going for: "Whoever feels doing something" rather than a real artist.

The way I see this though, is more an opportunity to the artist rather than me, since I already have the game and can already make another type of art for it.

The project will also allow the artist to get noticed on thousands of views, thing that does not happen easily.

And since I am doing marketing of the game, the artist can profit from this. He gets views by just doing nothing more than some art he feels great doing. Plus he might get a chance on getting hired on a future title if the game he worked on sells well.
