Q: I can't get the mod to work!
A: A Clash of Kings 1.5 requires an english LEGAL version of Mount and Blade: Warband version 1.161 to work. Additionally, the modification is very demanding, and that is why you need a good PC to run it.
Q: The game crashes and I get a message saying something about "Cozur snow grass what"
A: Yeah, it's because you're using a pirated version of the game. Don't be a thief.
Q: The game crashes and I get a message saying something about a missing text file/missing sound file/missing some file.
A: People have reported this problem occuring after a corrupt or faulty download. Try downloading again.
Q: I found a bug! What do I do?
A: Send me a PM with details and I'll try to fix it.

A: Yes! Though not if, by artist, you mean: "I drew a picture of a dragon".
Q: Why are there no White Walkers!
A: Because I don't know how to implement them properly. Not in terms of coding, but in terms of lore. Couple of Wights in the north though.
Q: Why did you include feature X, but not my wildly unrealistic request Y?
A: I have a very specific vision of Westeros and, furthermore, I have to work within certain limitations. Including a half-assed, reskinned human body and calling it a White Walker, well, that's not only lazy, it's lore-breaking.

Q: I can't load, the game crashes!
A: Your PC is not good enough to run A Clash of Kings. Try turning on "Load Textures on Demand". Or you might be using a 32 OS, my own system is 64, and as such the modification was made to run on that system. I'll be looking into a way to accomodate both systems in the future.
Q: Why is the diplomacy locked?
A: To prevent all out war between everyone. A better system will be implemented in version 2.0.
Q: Who made all those awesome armors?
A: Bilwit. He's pretty awesome.
Q: Why won't you include a Daenerys Targaryen faction?
A: Multiple reasons. At the start of the modification, she's wandering around the Red Waste. Including that would make the map about double the size, and then it would crash. A lot. I can't put in dragons, as the warband engine does not support different mount types. So it's not really possible.

A: I can't include something unless I get permission from the people who made it.
Q: Why won't you include character X and Y as companions? I think they're cool!
A: Lore reasons.
Q: Why is the map upside down?
A: The magnetic north pole is a shifting term. It actually changes about every million years on earth, and about every twelfth year on the sun. Also, I made the map upside down without thinking about it, and I don't want to re-do all the coordinates for parties, towns and castles.
Q: Why can't I recruit Gold Cloak Officers?
A: Because they're super-mega-wildly overpowered.
Q: Why can't I recruit more than ten Unsullied at a time?
A: See above answer.
Q: Where did all the peasants go?
A: They where removed for performance reasons, and replaced with a script that simulates the economy. Might change it in the future. Note: They're back in 1.4
Q: Why can't I sail all over the ocean?
A: MnB: Warband was never made with sea travel in mind, so adding it is pretty heavy on the performance. Making you sail all over the world is possible, but the game will crash often.
Q: Where are the Valyrian blades?
A: There's multiple quests for various valyrian weapons.
Q: Are you going to convert A Clash of Kings to Bannerlord?

Q: Why did you remove feature X? Despite not offering to help you with anything, I feel like I should be allowed to decide what goes in the modification!

Q: How do I start the Night's Watch quest line?
A: Talk to Manfred in the tavern, in White Harbor.
Q: How do I start the Targaryen quest line?
A: Talk to Panta. You can find him in Illyrios Manse.
Q: Is there a list of all the quests and where to obtain them?
A: Yes, look under the features tab.
Q: Why are the different versions not save-game compatible?
A: The way Mount and Blade: Warband works, and most games for that matter, means that I can't put in new models/textures/troops/scenes/code etc, and still have the game be compatible with earlier versions.
Q: I'm using a Mac, and the text is all weird. What can I do?
A: No idea, I don't own a Mac.
Q: How do I access the mod options?
A: Go to the camp menu while on the world travel map.
Q: The stumble feature is super annoying, how do I turn it off/how can I lessen the effect/why did you put it in?
A: You can't turn it off, but if you get 6 in athletics, there's only a 2% chance you'll stumble. The feature was added as a way to counteract the obvious exploit of backpedalling across the map, forcing the enemy into a thin line and then enabling the player to kill them one by one. Was way too overpowered.
Q: Why did you make spears breakable?
A: Spearmen are great for withstanding horse charges, not so much for trying to stab someone who is very close to you. However, the AI does not know this, and would thus try to stab the enemy, even when it was impossible. Making the spears break means that spearmen are still a good defense against cavalry, but that in sieges they'll quickly switch to their secondary weapon.
