That's cool man, my first question will be about weapons :3
Are you guys going to replace the vanilla weapons or you'll keep them ? it really bothers us using an AK with a left sided ejection port, this is one of the main torturing things in all Stalker games, and many mods fixed that part, so will Wormwood take care of this part too ? it's okay if it won't be available for the first release, but knowing that the Devs already have the intention of replacing the weapons is just a relief for me and all Stalkers.

Some of Lefties like me don't bother of things like that , actually it feels more immersive , but with... ALL THE GOD DAMN WEAPONS its kinda annoying xD

well , my question is more about gameplay
¿is going to have more enemies , npc's and variations?
Which one is the game aspect where unmodded CoP is most lacking? What aspect of CoP do you wish you could massively improve but can't at the moment?
First i must say, thank you for this guys.
I would like to know if there will be more levels besides x-12 in wormwood
Combo questions:
Are the new missions woven into the original story? Are they completely optional?
Is the original story modified at all? Are there any plans to modify the story to either diversify it or lengthen it? Is that even possible?

Are you including or considering to include a system, where other characters that have already gone through their story functions/missions and survived so far (such as Sultan, Topol, Noah, the traders and other major characters), that will automatically generate persistent random missions during the main course of the story and later while on free-play?

I would love to see SoC Maps , no quests , but at least AI Life and things like that :P
Okay I'll bite.
How much work goes into working on the GUI? I've always been curious, but have never really tried to do so myself.
I'm specifically talking about that new form you created when looting parts from mutants, while I understand the "creative" process behind it, I do not quite understand the implementation of it into the actual game.
Since this is a CoP mod can we expect new CoP sized maps, I love big areas to explore and survive in. Also visually are you going to overhaul the environment/graphics are you aiming for perhaps a certain stylized look or feel to the game?
and lastly in terms of quests/missions can we expect more interesting/varied side quests?
What is the deal with the new name? Why change from Redux and why exactly Wormwood?
Now for a rather serious question;
What will make me pick Wormwood over lets say, SGM, Misery, Road to Pripyat etc. etc. as a stalker gamer, both new to the series as veteran? What audience do you target with the mod and how are you going to portait that?
Another one;
What engine modifications will Wormwood provide? How will these benefit me as a player with a single / dual / quad core processor with 4 / 8GB ram or 512mb / 1GB / 2GB / 4GB video card?

Are you going to increase the range of knife attacks? or even better, add the gun butt strike to the player as well? So glad to see you guys trying to bring back whats been cut from COP.
Also one more thing that came into my head: are medics in safe zone still gonna be free? also will you add a custom medic to replace Tremor in Skadovsk?
****! I totally forgot where the Q+A was on this mod's page and so I posted my question in the announcement. Here it is, if it's too late I understand.
Do you plan on adding some "immersive" combat features? I guess what I'm thinking of is much louder bullet whizzing/snapping and maybe some Insurgency/Project Reality-esque screen effects when you're shot at. It would make combat far more interesting, and IMO could do wonders for combat balance and difficulty, since you will have an incentive to find cover and not just run around being Rambo.
Another idea is to focus on a sort of ironically bleak atmosphere of the Zone. That is, that the Zone is lush and beautiful, being untouched by humans for decades, yet also depressing because of the anomalies and how quickly and painfully someone can die at any moment.
