Description

The tapestry tells the story of Geralt "the anglo-saxon" Rivia.
The story begins in a little farm somewhere in Sussex.
"Oh come on dear, milk the cow and get some eggs... The kids are starving! - Said a not so beautiful redheaded women.
"Milk the cow? I won't touch you again dear...It was far enough for these years.."- thought Geralt, but kept it for himself.
"What do you blabbering dear?" - came the question for him.
"Oh nothing nothing.... just a minute and the fresh cow-striga milk is on the way!"---"May she ate you as well..."-thought Geralt.

So everything went in the ordinary way as usual, when suddenly a soldier arrived.

"I'm one of King Harold's huscarls Geralt. He needs every capable men! Most will surely die on a bright sunndy day, but don't worry only the king will be burried." - said the huscarl.
"And what is your name lad?"- asked Geralt.
"It's Sir Ordgar! But you can call me Ordgar."
"Well, Odgar if i'm right... Anything is better than to live with this hag... So forget about Triss we have a war to win!".
So as it said Geralt joined the Anglo-Saxon army and defeated the vikings at Gate Fulford and Stamford Bridge. In the end he got sick from the cow-striga's milk so he could not fight in the battle of Hastings, but after their defeat still a carpet holds the memory of a brave solider who gone to war with a wide grin.
