It's good as far as concept art goes. But to be art in its own right, it lacks a background - a world to place the character in - a story.

Harimau - Theres much more to art than pretty backgrounds. The goal of a conceptual artist is to draw easily readable drafts of ideas or ideals from imagination. An "illustrator" should be able to tell a story through the look of the figure. If a background is needed to tell a story, then the artist has obviously not achieved his goal.
