Each year after two weeks of hard fought voting (58,000 votes to be precise) we announce the top 100 of 2008. Unlike other "best games awards" you see on the internet time and time again, we focus entirely on the greatest mod and indie games and we let you decide which make the cut and which don't. The rules are simple, the same mod and indie can make the cut provided they made significant process in the past year. Why? Because we know mods are continually evolving and are not dumped once released in favor of a new money making title.
So sit tight, we have the top 100 and will be launching with a big splash in precisely 24 hours (at the time of writing). A couple of days late I know - don't worry you'll still have another two weeks to play and vote for your favorites in the top 100 as we narrow down to the top 10.

well the scoreboard is designed to tick over to phase 2 immediately, but phase 2 hasn't yet started so I extended it.
The scoreboard respectively the countdown is running but not the actual nomination voting, is that correct?

A second round of voting will then commence as people pick there favorites from the top 100. Hope that helps!
