Yeah, the difference is small, but when you know where to look, you will see that the new one does much better fit into the scene.

The old way was just to add the blooming on top of the scene. In the new way, we are blending them together.

I dunno. Maybe I go for some of the fancy realtime stuff, or I precompute them into lightmaps. I'll decide this later.

I just improved the blooming a bit. It now gets blended onto the scene, not just added.
You have to look carefully to see it. See it in "Full Size" and look at the piece of bloom on top of the wall of my little test-house.
