At the Vision Summit 2016, Unity's principal engineer, Timoni West, presented a demo of the engine's new native virtual reality development mode. The mode is called SceneVR, and it allows developers to create and modify scenes (essentially "levels") for virtual reality games, while using a virtual reality headset.
This makes the creation process for VR games much more streamlined, and allows developers to get a one-to-one sense of what their creation is going to look and feel like in VR without having to constantly switch between using a desktop and a VR headset.
SceneVR was announced yesterday by Sylvio Drouin, Executive VP of Unity Labs, but the above video (via VRScout) is the first look at the tool in action. The announcement follows Epic's own reveal of a native VR development mode for Unreal Engine 4, using the HTC Vive and its motion controllers to move and place objects in the environment. Unity's SceneVR was demoed with the Oculus Rift and Oculus Touch Controllers, support for which Epic will be adding to its own Unreal Engine VR development mode once the Touch becomes available.
VR creators will get access to Unity's Professional Edition to create new VR content.
Unity developers will now be able to easily create VR content for Google's Cardboard headset.

So this engine will be further developed and getting better +one of the most optimized mobile engines So why I give only 7 out of 10? Well, Unity has unfortunately some really weak points: -Basic version is free. But if you serious about game development…
