It's here! Interplanetary has now been released on Steam as an Early Access title. If you're ready for some interplanetary warfare, you can go get the game here: Store.steampowered.com

What a ride! We'd like to thank everyone who took part in the alpha code testing phase. Your feedback has been valuable and we hope you'll follow us onto the next step of Interplanetary's journey!

Since Interplanetary is in Early Access, we will keep developing it while you can play it, taking advantage of Steam's features. Don't forget to send us your critique, bug reports and ideas so we can keep making the game better and better.

You can still use our survey to report your experiences or simply go to theInterplanetary Discussion Board on Steam.

Honestly, this engine sucks. Considering there are some many better free engines out there (UDK, Cryengine 2 SDK) why should I have to pay $1000 to actually get something out of this engine?

True the price is quite hefty initially. (for some common features, like rt-shadows, etc)
(one point though, CryEngine 2 SDK is not out yet ;))

The advantages of Unity are: +You can build for nearly all major plattforms +Easy to learn +Great assets pipeline, which supports most 3D packages +Great and helpful community and hundreds of useful tutorials +Good documentation +A big fund as backbone. So this engine will be further developed and getting better +one of the most optimized mobile engines So why I give only 7 out of 10?
