Happy Halloween, everyone!

Halloween has always been my favorite holiday. It's the perfect intersection of fantasy and horror coming into the mainstream. We encourage people to get in costume and be kind to each other all day long. We fill our yards with ghosts and monsters and bring on the scares. Even the TV stations air horror films while the sun is out. It's a great day to be a fan of all things weird fiction.

Haunted: A Slip Story is a love letter to Halloween. As someone who has done a ground up build of a new yard haunt every year since 1999 (and sometimes more than one: I'll always hop on and help someone else get their haunt going), Halloween plays a huge role in my life. Usually, I start working on my next haunt in April or May so I have time to plan, build, and perfect my designs. This year, I put it on the backburner to turn my unfulfilled haunt ideas into a new game.

Haunted lets you explore three very different yard haunt concepts inspired by different kinds of pumpkins. You'll interact with the stories to create worlds of horror, sci-fi, and weird fiction you never thought imaginable. Every choice you make impacts how the rest of the haunt experience will go.

Greatest of all, you get to try out all three haunts when you play. You have to start somewhere, but you get to turn back time and start again on a different design. You just might know more than you should if it was really a fresh start.
