The Treyarch NGL is the engine made by Treyarch for the game Call of Duty 3. It is based off of the idEngine that previous Call of Duty games have used. It has been outdated by the IW 3.0 Engine by Infinity Ward used for Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and the IW 4.0 Engine by Infinity Ward for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.
