The engine's main purpose is to build simulations and test scenarios for Military, Science, constructing as well as being used to produce TV Adverts, Special Effects for Live movies. This is one engine that can be used in virtually anything, for this site however, the ShadowEdge Physics Engine 2 demonstrates its use in the gaming industry.

In 2013, The ShadowEdge Physics Engine 2 will be unleashed into the non gaming industry, it will be used to develop animated movies, computer generated images, Special Effects, simulations, scientific research and construction L-mod United Kingdom are already working on one video game and one animated movie that will use the ShadowEdge Physics Engine 2, L-mod United Kingdom are also letting big time developers license the engine, these big developers are not in the gaming industry but movie industry like Dreamworks and Pixar, Developers of the Shrek franchise and Toy Stories Series respectively.
