Bioware's upcoming spiritual sequel to Baldur’s gate may be a while off yet, but as of today you can sign up to get your hands on a beta copy of the Dragon Age: Origins Toolset. The required form you need to fill out has all the normal questions and technical requirements like DXDiag output and your current amount of modding experience. Nothing too difficult right?

Bioware wrote: We are taking applications now from Community members who want to participate in this closed-beta test of the Dragon Age: Origins Toolset, an opportunity to help temper the Dragon Age Toolset into something that may be used for years to come by a vast and thriving community. We are looking for a wide range of computer systems, testing experience and a variety of technical areas of expertise. No experience with toolsets? No problem. We are looking for all types of users.

I've always been a massive fan of CRPG's so this is something I'm going to be looking into. So look out for some updates in the near future.
