Is it using some sort of camera texture?

No, it just uses a static cube-map image. But using renderables you could also use a dynamic cube-map generated by a camera. Right now though cameras can not yet produce dynamic env-maps just dynamic 2D images. I'll implement this in the near future.

For some reason ModDB *AGAIN* messed up the video and turned it horribly low-resolution. See Youtu.be for the HD version. It would really be nice if ModDB once upon time fixed this nasty bug of theirs down-sampling videos into a low-resolution mess... it's helluva annoying U_U
