We're back with some news!
After having gone silent for a while, today we want to show you the progress of our RnL CryEngine3 conversion. So far we have three maps in white box stages and one that has progressed past this. For it we ported most of the required assets from Source already. We also ported a particular feature that you'll probably love.
So get ready for the in-game overview map:
The next piece is the new Willys jeep in the SDK sample level. It has been reworked from scratch and is now finally done! (almost anyway).
And as always:
We're looking for level designers, 3d artists and animators. Any other skill is welcome, too.
If you think you've got what it takes to help us out, don't hesitate to contact me or follow this link.
P.S. The first one to figure out which map is shown on the overview map, gets an exclusive screenshot of said map.
here.
Aperture-based depth of field is insanely real.
I wonder what the CryENGINE 4 will look like!
I want something free that I can make 3d games on PS3, Xbox360 AND pc if possible but I don't think my current computer is up to it... also I am not entitled to the student version as I am using it for possible commercial purposes.
can anyone help me find the right one?
CryENGINE 3 is great if you are going to make a free game.
Or if you can afford it's insane price.
I'd try out Unity 3D. It will work on Linux, Windows, and Mac for free.
If you make up to 100k in a year with it, you will have to buy Pro($1500)
You can also buy additional licenses for consoles.
So sell for PC, get money, then sell for console.
It also comes with Flash Support.
well Uraikus, for independent developers Crytek require only 20% of the developer’s revenues from the commercial launch of their game, and in my opinion i say that only 20% share isn't much for this AAA Engine
easy. Features = UDK. Graphics = CE SDK. :P
Free UDK = You can do everything
Cryengine SDK = You can do some mods for Crysis and Crysis 2.
JBJHJM if you don't agree with me, do or show me a sample (Only one sample free game with Cryengine enough for me). :)
1 sample of free to play game using CryENGINE 3: Mwomercs.com If you need more examples let me know
Show me some completed works. Show me what did you do with them... I worked for Bodycopter Project for UDK Moddb.com
Show me some UDK games that where completed after 4 months that the first UDK came out.
Thats not true there are 2 version Crysis 2 SDK for mods and Free CryENGINE 3 SDK to create everything else.
