Multiplayer Tactical Shooter
The first version of the engine was known as W3D ("Westwood 3D") was highly modified version of SurRender 3D engine, developed by Hybrid Graphics Ltd. Westwood used W3D for Emperor: Battle for Dune and updated for Command & Conquer: Renegade. After Westwood was bought by Electronic Arts the engine was further updated and renamed to SAGE. SAGE is still being used today in EA's RTS games.
Lots of eye candy this week, we're showing off the Rhino Tank, our new MP5 model, the Soviet Technician and Crazy Ivan's unwrap. Check it out!

what the fuck :P are you making this for Red Alert 2? wasnt that like....hanwddrawn .gifs walking around?
no, we're making it for an improved version of the renegade engine.
(we've got shaders and stuff at our disposal)
No, they made models and took screesnhots of them from 8 sides, to have AND high quality visuals AND isometric view AND relatively low system requirements.
Wut? No, we are re-creating Red Alert 2 in a 3d environment. It's a First (Third) Person Shooter with tanks and bases and explosions and stuff.
they look pretty cool ;)
i like the black/red tank style
baking the "new" mp5 was very unnessecary... you'd never notice it, well maybe if its a HUD element, but otherwise unnessecary
That's all Model, i'm pretty sure. The MP5 is still a WIP, so it'll change a bit before it's textured (Moddeler said he'd put on rear sights, make the mag a straight one, instead of curved)
This looks...awesome, i'm waiting for this to come out
