when you say run your own server, can it be a private server? like friends only?
you can play friends only or put your server online to let anyone join your server. it's your choice.
i dont think this mod works anymore, i did everthing that it said to in the readme, but i keep getting "steam error" if you have teamviewer could you help me out? really a huge fan of this game, even my friends cant figure out why it isnt working, we all get the same message "steam error" i know i could play online with the mod on your server, but i dont have good internet, thats why i wanted to play locally, anyway, hope you can find some time to help me out, thanks
The mod come READY to play... please download the autorestart and use it to start the server, then just search locally at LAN and will find your server and will work fine. Or just connect at our server and have fun.
I followed exactly what you read-me file said. I couldn't get it to work. Hoe do I work it for Windows 10?
Not exactly I guess, it's ready to play. Just hit the bat file and enjoy. Seams you are not a Server Admin, so it's better just join our server or ask help of a Server Admin.

Doesn't work for steam?
Work fine on Steam version too. Remember to set the MOD directory or he will try to find the files at your documment files, better set to COD5/mods like the original COD4.
Each time i created the shorcut directly to this mod as its instruction said, when i tried to open the shorcut it just ran a console board and nothing else, no game. Why & How to enter it now?
It's the dedicated server, now just open the game and join your server which is already online.
I click the shortcut ++set fs_game "mods/Frontlines" +set dedicated 2 +exec server.cfg +map_rotate to start the server, and then when I try to launch the game, the server shortcut says "not responding"
You can't open the same shortcut again, will try to run another instance of the server in the same port and will crash. After the server is running open the normal game and just join!
if i run the shortcut from the directory, i cannot host the server and play it at the same time because on the steam version which i own you cannot create two different instances of the game.
Copy your W@W to another folder and make this your server, run it. Open it in Steam and join your own server. Enjoy!
Hey I would like to ask can I get a little help with the installation I gotta download all of the patches then put em where?
the patches are automatic, just double click and will find and update your W@W. Remember that Steam version is already updated and don't need them.
Hi, thank you for your work, but I'm not sure I understand this. When I install Frontline (I can run the server on the shortcut), but I can't / don't know how to add bots. Do I have to install PezBots? Is Hajas Extreme Realism already included? Then why do I have a SVG in the American Army? I'm confused. ;(
Did you set the autoassign like I request in the comments? If yes the bots should enter the game automatically. SVG? This weapons doesn't exist in WaW.
