Dude, your shortcut doesn't work. What is an exception? It keeps coming up every time I try to run the mod, no matter which version I try.
once again. if this error is happening then you may have placed your FOC game in another drive other than C: . if thats so edit the shortcut.
How am I supposed to install this? Does the T.O.R. folder go in the Mods folder? Depending on where it is, I either get an exception or the game loads, but the menus are all messed up. Please tell me what I'm doing wrong!
menus are mixed up? Send the file to
C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\Mods
place ONLY the T.O.R. folder.
If it says it needs to override any old files override.
if it is not working then. edit the shortcut or make a new one.
Okay, I did all of that and it still isn't working. It always says there's an exception when I get to the loading screen and the game closes.
I also tried re-installing the game. Should there be more in the FoC Data folder than an Audio folder, Text folder, some MEG files and an XML document? It didn't install any Art folder or XML folder. Is this right?

Would've been an awesome mod if:
1. The shortcut would work(I've tried ******* everything possible to me)
2. The menu wouldn't be messed up if started with a mod launcher.
I hope you'll fix this in a patch or something but the mod at it's current state sucks for me. (I just can't play with this messed up menu)
Did i mess up installing it or does it normally have alot of missing tooltips?
your talking about ground right? space has nearly (91%) all text_units and text_tooltips.
great mod though a lot of names of ships are missing or they say its a ship from the galatic cival war but i can live with it

THIS IS EASY-PEASY:
the current shortcut directory is:
"C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\swfoc.exe" MODPATH=Mods\T.O.R
if you placed the FOC game in another folder such as A:, E:, D: or in another pace such as C:\windows then make edits.
1)right-click on the shortcut
2)select properties
3)select the shortcut tab
4)make edits
5)press ok to finish
I've got a problem with no AI. They don't do anything.
Ive got the same problem, error everytime I open.
the shortcut must be in c:\program files\lucasarts\FoC!!!
Or just make that directory the "start-in" location (in the properties window.)
EVERYONE HAVING PROBLEMS:
just take the data folder from the download and put it in the old republic mod folder from the last download, keeping the shotcut the same. If teh shortcut still dont work make a .bat file with the following code:
swfoc MODPATH=Mods\<insert mod's folder name here>
changing the content within the < > of course, and also remove the < > when you put your mod's folder name in.

dude, all im downloading is a rar. file, no folders, no other files just a rar. help?
the rar. file is like a zip. file. it needs to be extracted. all the game data is in that file.
ok heres what you guys do if it doesent work right click the properties folder for the shortcut and put in for the start in space "C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption" and it should work it did for me its just that the menues are ****** and messed up which im sure will be fixed.
this works fixed my problem. and for 64 bit machines it program files x86 not plane program files.(just copy paste it from the directory)

probably not but you may want to change your OS windows 7 is obviously great im using it myself

i have made my own shortcut for TOR and the game crashes whenever i start it

delete all previous versions of the mod, then download it, then extract it .
everytime i download it the menu is all buggy
The menu messed up for me as well, but I've also had messed up menus on the Corporate Addon Mod and Rise of the Mandalorians. Someone on filefront mentioned something about replacing the mt_commandbar file, but I can't remember which mod they were talking about.
all my other MODS work perfectly its just this one. how do i fix the menu?
