goofy question but is there a way to make the AI harder
You could crank up the AI by using the "custom" option. But if you want to make it SMARTER, then that's not something I can do, as A) I hate the AI and would probably mess things up more than I would make them better and B) I'm pretty sure that all that's encrypted anyway.
there is no way i know the ai is getting harder but if you play revamp legacy with balnace and such thingies you will have a hell of an ai that turtles its self and punishes you with units faster and stronger than you can turtle your self
ya i know that would be a pain but i remember one guy saying they dont use resource right or burn it up the AI i think is fine but ima turtle player so i like to chill and hold off the horde but sometimes they dont make armies

At some point, I do plan on doing so. However, as of now, that's not too high on the agenda.
i dont know if its me but it seems like a number crunch may be a good idea every things really high which drastically slows the game down like it takes an hour for the AI to make anything and if im not mistakin they have a set unit point they reach before they attack and i know u can boost them but i dont think u can boost yourself so i dont know but yeah ur the boss just a thought
I've recently found a very simple way (that I should have seen a long time ago) to alter the blueprints of many units at the beginning of the game in a couple lines of code. I can tell you, at least, that experimental build times will be lower (though still not "low") when the next version rolls around.
and ive seen the warp pillars mod but never tried it, it looks cool what does it bring in to the game ?
They are space savers, and yes, they look cool :D
dunno if it is just me, but my friend and I are having desyncs, as soon as one of us uses a catalyst....
Unfortunately, it ends up the Catalyst UI doesn't work in multiplayer after all. I thought I fixed it, but I guess I didn't. For now, I would just say to stay away from that UI unless you're in singleplayer.

For those having trouble, here is the install procedure. I think it still applies to 3.1.1. This is from one of the README's a while back.
MOD MANAGER
1) Download RVE, RVE's Balance mod, and this mod and extract it's contents to a place of your choice
2) Download CerusVI's mod manager (in RVE's downloads)
3) Run the mod manager. At the bottom left-hand corner, click add.
4) Add the mod support minimod first, then revamp balance, then revamp and finally unitport. YOU MUST ADD REVAMP 1.1 FIRST. You will see that UnitPort takes the place of RVE 1.1 in the mod manager. This is supposed to happen.
5) Check the boxes next to all the mods on the left.
6) Launch
Just can't build UEF T2 Air...

Finally a new version, hopefully we'll be able to extensively test soon it to check out if catalyst MP desync is finally gone. BTW, will the UnitPort move to RVE 2.0 once it's out? I've heard that it's going to be a lot of SupCom features like adjacency bonus and SMD auto-recharge in 2.0, so moving to it seems reasonable.
Sorry, multiplayer still doesn't work. Ugh.
I do plan on moving UnitPort to RVE 2.0 when it comes out (and it sounds like that'll be soon!). There'll probably be a lot of changes -- especially when it comes to the number of units -- but I'll definitely want to bring over some of the key units and UIs of UnitPort.
my unitport keep crashing after loading to a skirmish or any match :( help i installed RV balance mod and mithy support mod D: but still crash
You also want to make sure you install RVE 1.1 as well, though you have to install that BEFORE UnitPort. You may want to take a look at the Crash EAQ under the "Tutorials" section of my profile or the video (there's only one) in the "Videos" section.
Multiplayer Catalyst activation desynch still occurs. Other than that, mod works fine in MP. Thanks a lot for your continued work on such a great mod!!

Yeah, there are a lot of useless units, I'll admit it. There are also plenty of bugs, as this IS a beta. But on the other hand, UnitPort also comes with new balance changes, new effects, a variety of units that are usefull and new effects for almost all of them, and a variety of UIs that will deepen (probably) your gameplay experience. Furthermore, if you're a Forged Alliance veteran, most of the new units come from FA mods, so you get to see your favorite units in both Supcoms.

Нашёл баги:
1.У БКЦ при активации способности ,,Укрытие'' происходит замена способности ,,Следующий Уровень''. Нельзя выбрать следующие уровни технологий.
2.После 30-45 минут падает скорость игры.
Скорость передвижения всех юнит уменьшается в несколько раз. Такого не должно быть. Стоит скорость игры: Регулируемая.
Юниты передвигаются в замедленном действии.
При + 10 они передвигаются очень медленно. Прошу исправить.
3.При уничтожении вражеских юнитов ландшафт превращается в чёрные дыры. Возле базы и недалеко от базы.
У моего союзника тоже самое. Подобное наблюдается и в других местах на карте.
Через 10-15 минут они исчезают. Через некоторое время всё это повторяется.Просьба исправить.
4. ОФЗ. В морской фабрике отсутствуют SP3-3000 и ACE.
5.Эксперементальный Wyvern никого не хранит в хранилище. Оно не работает.
6. БКЦ,инжинеры и те кто умеет строить, не помогают строить строения. Один строит строение а другие ему не помогают.
Пожелание к моду:
1.Ветка Земля. Предлагаю способность ,,Тяжёлый Щит'' сделать не как щит а как силовое поле.
Пример: Armored Fortress, Р-Щит.
А вот когда у них силовое поле это уже выглядит намного лучше.
2.Ветка Воздух.
Убрать отображение щита на авиации.
Теряется интерес когда все юниты белые.
Радует разнообразие техники и зданий.
Нехватает только Расы ,,Серафимов''
Планируете ли вы добавить их в игру?
Многие были бы рады увидеть их в Supreme Commander 2.
