Warband compatibility patch, distributed as an optional companion to standalone TLD 3.3 for Mount&Blade 1.011. Read the included Install Guide.
More than nice I would say, more like three months nice.
And still needs work. Have fun in moderation, Warband players.
Read the install guide, be nice, and help us make it better by reporting problems once.

Read the Manual. It's packed into them mod folder itself and it's also included in the Downloads here.
I experience the same problem. When trying to attack larger enemy groups, the mod stops responding. The manual doesn't seem to help. Also, where can I find the so-called Ironlauncher? It is not present in my TLD module folder..
Its those wargs thats causing trouble.
Find the patch link.
you see is not always the mods fault. due to the mod being SO heavy you need a computer that will be able to maintain it. i mean you wouldnt expect to play call of duty ghosts on a notebook to work split second, would you? i have a new cosmos razer full tower and it works PERFECTLY!
oh gyts and PS Read the bloody manual carefully dont just scan it. I know the problems for myself you can really screw up your pc with such a heavy file/mod.
Hope that helps.
I have errors i read install guide 3 times, and i have errors RGL? and Could not load load menu back,hlsl_data_handles 5?
Where is the installation guide? I cant find it...
Nvm, i figured out the problem (I didnt download the 3.3.7 version only the patch :P )
In the standalone release, and linked in MBX threads, Taleworlds and ModDB news article.
Just look at the folder structure. What's in the TLD folder has to go in the TLD folder, you're overwriting files for the mod to work with Warband. So files in the patch need to replace the same files in the TLD installation folder.
Hey guys, can someone help? So I downloaded both the standalone file version 3.3. and compatibility patch for Warband. I extracted the main file to my MB Warband Module folder, and then extracted the compatibility patch to TLD folder.
However, I received this message while the patch was extracting :
! C:\Users\Username\Desktop\TLD_3.3_wbcompat.1.7z: Unknown method in TLD\postfx.txt
I tried starting the game but I was getting numerous warnings of missing hlsl handles or something along those line.
Anyone knows what I did wrong? Appreciate it.
Try updating your 7zip to the latest version. That may work.
i will try that then
I am having the same problem. I extracted the 7z files and then copy pasted them in the Modules folder. However when I run the game I get the same warnings and then the game stops. What can I do? How can this be fixed? I really want to try this mod with warbabnd!
Very cool! I'm so glad to see this finally getting updated to warbands
"Conquest: you and your allies must destroy the enemy"
I tried to join a battle close to Caras Galadhon in Warband version but it crashed, loaded a save, tried again. And it crashed again.
The battle was between a Lorien army and a Dol Guldur army.
Hope you fix whatever is wrong in a patch. (:
It doesn't seem to have anything with the enviroment, i can walk around without a problem.
It's probably a problem with certain unit script or texture... The problem first occurred with Fuinur's army from Dol Guldur against Celeborn. Now it happens again with a Moria Scout party.
If there are any warg riders, that's probably one we know about.
Use auto resolve for these battles, for now.
Thanks for the reply!
I just checked both armies and indeed there were warg riders in them. I'd rather wait it out until there's a fix-patch. ^^
Try finding the dropbox link from swyter. It is not official but I've tried it out and works like a charm :D
Having the same problem with all orcs armies since i accepted a mission to eliminate war parties. i can still fight in sieges and walk around (like in moria and cities)
Just tried it, and it is AMAZING! Thanks a lot!
i havent understanded guide do i need MB Warband 1.011
Man, you need BOTH files - standalone version TLD 3.3 for 1.011 (for normal M&B NOT WARBAND) and this Warband PATCH.
Now extract your standalone 1.011. Now put inside folder TLD the Warband Patch and extract your Warband patch.
Now copy your PATCHED folder TLD into your Warband/modules
It works for me. Was it really so hard and not understandable?
yes,yes i was doing that but i cant start, game it crashes when loading says "problem caused program to stop working".
What version of warband you are using
1.158 and it works
but there's still some bugs
- map is sometimes all black,
- Backspace not only view commands' window but also makes command "Move there" and it sucks, because sometimes I don't want to "move there" my troops
- trainings in baracks don't work well - my character spawn without weapon, no matter what I choose (tested only in Orthanc, playing Uruk-Hai)
- Morale system and routing system doesn't work well - all troops (volunteers at towns who can be recruit in baracks) have terrible morale at the begining
doesnt work for me on 1.143/1.153 nor 1.158.
I will try to download again.
"Now extract your standalone 1.011. Now put inside folder TLD the Warband Patch and extract your Warband patch."
Should have pre-read that a little.
Ok so I extract the Mount and blade version, put it inside the extracted warband folder. Then extract the warband again into where?
Then put the result into my modules folder?
Oh man... I cannot speak English well but I try to explain how to make it works on Warband:
1) You must have this: Moddb.com
2) You must have this: Moddb.com
3) When you have BOTH:
Extract 1) file. Inside .rar there is "TLD" folder
4) Extract 2) file. There should be "TLD" folder.
5) Now you should copy these both files to the M&B WARBAND/modules. When you copied 1) TLD folder, then you should copy and paste 2) TLD (warband patch) folder and allow system to replace it.
6) NOW IT WORKS. If not for you, it works for me, so...
I'm sorry if I wasn't understandable. I just tried to help...
