Sven Co-op is a Co-operative based game for Valve Software's Half-Life. In this mod, players must work together against computer controlled enemies and solve puzzles as a team. Supports hundreds of custom maps, Half-Life storyline maps, Opposing Force, HL: Uplink, Neil Manke's They Hunger Ep1 & 2, etc.
This is the full version of Sven Co-op 4.8, 7zipped for server operators. Most users are recommended to use the installer instead.
After extracting, you MUST add "-num_edicts 3072 -heapsize 131072" to your HLDS commandline or Launch Options. Also please run the \svencoop\RUNME_updateoldfiles.bat file.
If you wish to install HL SP, Opposing Force, or Blue Shift support, use the Install_HLSP_Support.bat, Install_OpFor_Support.bat and Install_BlueShift_Support.bat scripts. On Linux use the .sh scripts included instead.
Some of the more notable changes include:
- Added Half-Life: Blue Shift co-op campaign support!
- Added breakable functionality to all door types.
- Added RIPENT for Linux with campaign installation scripts, along with uninstallation scripts.
- Improved compatibility with the SteamPipe update for Half-Life:
- Added missing VGUI language lines.
- Campaign installation scripts will now search the common account folder for official BSP's.
- File system updates include reading files from various mod extension folders (like addon, downloads, and hd).
- Fixed borderless window mode vastly shrinking the game window.
- Linux server binary renamed to hl.so.

It is essential that you are at least familiar with Half-Life and its controls, and it is recommended that you have completed Half-Life's Hazard Course. While Sven Co-op is similar to Half-Life, with similar weapons, monsters and characters, the difficulty has been increased.
Sven Co-op's levels are set as missions and are generally separate from each other. Many missions span several maps, and some are collected together in a series. The aim of most levels is to reach the end or to achieve an objective / obtaining a high score is not essential to beat a level, its just part of the fun.

why does it say also for linux? the binary doesnt work properly on linux
the mod is fine on Linux, its just the GUI menu's are not supported by Linux and crashes the game, a fix for it would make it a fully playable mod on Linux!
But right now its not fine, so again why does it say linux. I've tried it before, the mod doesn't seem to be fine at all.

Pls help, me and my friends try to play this mod and we have connection error.It say on console something like "Unable to load voice codec 'voice_speex'"they can't connects to my game.I have try to change voice codec in server.cfg to audio_miles but it's not work.Please help me and sorry for bad english :(
