STAR WARS JEDI KNIGHT: JEDI ACADEMY – KOTOR 2 DUELS it’s a mod that features the most important duels from Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic 2. The purpose of this mod is to make maps and cinematics to recreate every scene that connected to a duel in the game, but all inside Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy. The mod contains new content from the vanilla game including levels, models, textures, menus, music, etc.
STAR WARS JEDI KNIGHT: JEDI ACADEMY – KOTOR 2 DUELS it’s a mod that features in its core version 17 missions, from which 2 are not duel based missions. This mod contains several new features to recreate a KotOR 2 experience with the Quake 3 engine and the combat system of Jedi Academy. The purpose of this mod is not to recreate KotOR II. My purpose is to mix both games to enjoy a new experience. The cinematics and dialogs from KotOR II plus the gameplay system of vanilla Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.
Features:- At this point the mod has around 17 missions from each KotOR 2 planet. 2 of those are not dueling missions.
The scenarios/planets are the following:
- Peragus 1 mission
- Telos 4 missions
- Ebon Hawk 1 mission
- Nar Shaddaa 1 mission
- Dantooine 1 mission
- Dxun 3 missions
- Korriban 4 missions
- Malachor 2 missions
- New Menus including an Exclusive "Cheat Menu" with a tons of possibilities.
- Every Planet has its own menu, including every mission.
- The Customization Menu has a good variety of characters to choose from.
- The Light saber Menu allows the player to choose from single, two blade to dual.
- Every Mission has its own dialogs, music and specific npcs.
- Some of the Missions are solo, but there are a couple in which the Exile has company.
NOTE FROM THE AUTHOR: My main job in this mod is to recreate the maps and build the scripts to perform the cinematics and playable missions. Other content such as player models, weapons, etc. has been already released for Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy.

UNPACK EVERYTHING IN YOUR STAR WARS JEDI KNIGHT JEDI ACADEMY/GAMEDATA AND RUN JKAKotOR2Duels.exe to play.

BUGS
----------------------------------------
- In certain cinematics if you attack the enemy with an intense agro, at the final of the mission the cinematic broke. But, this only happens when credits appear. The following missions have that problem. It is around 10% to happen.. Darth Revan Encounter. Master Kavar Duel. Duel with the Sith Lords
- The “Kreia Vision” has a bug with the droid. Sometimes when the player loads the mission, the droid starts to fire randomly. Skip the cinematic and reload the map to fix it.
- Also, there is no KotOR2 vintage droid model. It is R2-D2.
- The cheat menu can be tricky. If the player spawns extra npcs on certain missions, the cinematics will broke. Be careful, use the cheat menu at your own risk.
- After the mission of Peragus, the player needs to change its saber at the “saber selection” menu. If no, the player will have a Sith_Sword. Change your saber after the first mission.
- Turn the Voice Volume to max to hear everything fine at cinematics. Down the effects and music a little bit, but turn voice to max.

well done i cannot believe we actually have action packed saber duels in kotor universe :)
if i had any suggestions at all, it would be about the audio and the dialogues.
I'm not sure how complicated it is to get your hands on kotor dialogue audio without backround effects, i know many other JA mods have the same background noise when the audio is extracted from a movie scene, but doesn't KOTOR hold seperated audio files for voices? again not a big thing, but ther it is.
Also, are there subtitles? I would love some for aliens and player character, him being mute and all

About the voices, I really didn't look into the kotOR2 files to get into the voices. Probably, if I continue modding. I will try to get into the audio files better. Also, subtitles. At moment I need to research how to do that, but yup. The mod will need subtitles to fit my plans. I will try to research that.
For the moment I need to say that I really really need a break from modding. But, probably I will return soon to fix or add new stuff. I consider this version as final core release because of it's stability, but one never knows ^^. More stuff can come.

Thank you for your work, this mod is very nice and impressive ! It's also nice to have the cinematics before the levels.
I have a question about a bug I encounter while playing it on my galaxy tab(using a google play app) : all levels work except the first one at Pelagus, I get the following error : MAX_PATCH_PLANES reached (2048). Do you know what it means ? I played a lot of SP mods without any problems so I wonder what could cause it ?
Of course all the other levels work perfectly, I will promote wour mod on the facebook pages of the JK app ! ;)

About the problem in Peragus. That one is really weird, and more in Peragus because I didn't designed the map with patches. I am not sure but it sounds like something is conflicting there. The error, I don't remember well, but it's caused for huge or big patches, the thing is that the map don't has patches o.o. It's also odd because I tested the mod in 2 pcs, everything was ok.
Matey, probably it's the app itself that its conflicting with the level. But, the bug it's pretty odd.

Many thanks for your answer. It is indeed quite odd, as all the other levels of the mod are working perfectly. On my laptop I can play Pelagus mission so I guess android isn't perfect. And again, many thanks for your great work !

Wow. Just wow. How did you ever have the time and patience to mix these two fantastic games together? I haven't played yet; I just started downloading it after watching the promotional trailer you posted. KOTOR is one of my favorite Star Wars games, and to see Jedi Academy redone like this is absolutely amazing. I can't wait to play!
Thanks! Indeed it was a huge project. It toke me off sometimes, I hated it a couple of times and it put me to think out of the box. Sometimes I just wanted to throw my computer out of the window haha. But when I finished it as I saw it on my mind. I was really satisfied.

About the question. I had a folder with this ost from the game laying on my second hard disk. I don't really remember if I recorded the tracks or if I got them with the tool. I did some experiments with KotOR stuff in the past. But I believe with the quality some tracks have, I did record them a long time ago.
Yes, well. I am not sure right now what to do with this mod. There are more projects to come and probably modding Jedi Knight again isn't what I am looking for. Since this game is getting really old, and the community is getting smaller and smaller. I need to move on from what I see things now to places in which the audience is bigger. Probably UDK, or UE4 would be the best decision right now. But that's just what I see from here, but yes. I would like to see a KotOR 1 mod too someday. Probably I will return to make it if no one does. Since this mod don't points directly to KotOR 1, the position is free for someone else to take it. But I don't promise anything, if I will return to do a KotOR 1 mod. To start, I need to beat the game again because I forgot the most memorable duels from the game. I remember a couple, like the Juhanni Duel, the duel with Bastila and the final Duel with Malak. It can be possible matey. I hope that the inspiration and motivation returns to do a KotOR 1 dueling mod :]

Yea, I can do that. I will do it in the form of steps.
1.- Download the mod
2.- Unpack everything you see on the .rar on your Jedi Academy/Gamedata folder
3.- Run JKAKotOR2Duels.bat or JKAKotOR2Duels.exe
Alternate Step 3. If both don't work for whatever reason. Run Jedi Academy Singleplayer. Then in the main menu, go to the label "Setup" and next go to the label "Mods" Then, right there choose KotOR 2 Duels. Finally, press the load button and you are all set.
4.- Enjoy :]
I didnt played yet and i usually never leave comments for anyone..good or bad, but as i saw these comments and their description this was THE MOD i always wanted to have since i was just a children playing at this game! I like this mod quite a bit, but whenever i try to change race i'm stuck as a twi'leck and everything is glitched out, did i **** something up?
Not sure what's happening there to be honest. That's quite weird, I will look into this if I return to mod soon.

In almost all missions comes a window [Error: Unknown -1013972992] and when a mission goes then I can not see any characters or weapons.
