The Star Trek Vs. Star Wars: Titanium Edition is now released. This includes the complete mod along with expansion packs 1 through 9. It also includes the extended version of the intro movie.
I have problems to integrate Twilight-Mods into the correct Mod-folder, cecause i don´t have installed the folder: c:\program files\\Stardock\games\...ans so on.
Also, I must integrate the MODS in my game folder : D:\Programme:\Kalypso\GalCiv2EU\Mods\Default
All that really matters is that the game itself is looking in the right spot. So to find out where the game is looking, in the game click options then under game options click use mod then click on change, and that will tell you what directory the game is looking at. Then just copy the mod files into that directory. And you are good to go. :)
Can't wait to try this - it's downloading now! Your mod is the only reason I bought TA (and I'm pretty sure without the mod I would have been disappointed getting the upgrade). Thanks!
Installed the titanium: crashed all the time but didn't knew there was patches...should I get only the last one or must get all 13 of them to have it to work properly?
Also, because I had (unrelated) to reformat my drive, i had to re-download the 1G file....who stop at 99%...and megaupload (may they die in infamy) say that I have to wait 110 minutes for that download...so to get all 13 patch and the 1g expansion: more then 1000 minutes of waiting is needed....plus the download time itself..GRRRR! if am not playing or doing something, SHE will want to do something...I can't ignore my wife that long! ;)
anyway files can be placed on a less crappy site then megaupload?
I am really sorry that it crashed on you all the time. I am no expert at technical problems, but maybe your computer system simply can't handle this mod? What is your computer specs? And the titanium edition contains expansion packs 1 through nine and is playable with just the Titanium edition, but if you want a better game experience then you will have to download and install the Titanium Edition plus expansion packs 10 through 13. And as for megaupload, yes I know it can be irritating, but I dont know of any other site that you can upload and download 1G files for free. I am open to suggestions though.
Don't worry about the rig spec: it can handle anything (got 4 times the specs in all fields).
I've re-downloaded the 1gig file and also installed so far patch 1 to 5, which stabilize quite nicely the game (far fewer crashes). I will now install your Titanium edition 1-9 and 10-13 to enhance my ultimate edition, looking forward!
As per the uploader problem: I suggest that you have a little chat with Anaka from the Pirate bay; they have ways to find host for free and torrents are much easier to handle with any size of files, without mentioning that it will put you on the map big time as modder. (guess how aircraftkiller started with Renegade....)
Okay, I tried your mod "Titanium Edition" (without the 10-14 add-ons, and your 10th addon isn't there in the list and neither is #11, for that matter, so I can't download #10), anyway, so every time I try and click new game and start a game, it crashes to the desktop. I have the mod enabled in the options in the default folder (D:Games\Galactic Civilization\Mods\Default) is where it's at. Do I need a certain patch to the game to make this work or what? your readme file is very unforthcoming on the details besides just installing it.
This seems to be happening for some people. A lot of time downloading and installing the 10 through 14 add-ons will help stabalize the mod. And you can download expansion packs 10 and 11 here:
