This is the patch. You need to first download and install the base installation @ Strategyinformer.com , then this patch.

Question. Everything looks, works, and is great, but when I save a game, it is not available to load. Is this problem common? Does anyone else get this? Is there a fix? Until then i just restart the game from the beginning every time I want to play :(
i got a similar issue, so i uninstalled stalker, reinstalled, then patched to the latest version, and THEN installed the stalker complete base, finally i installed the patch, and presto, 80 fps maxed out with no crashed in 40 hours of gameplay (and im running those ****** ati 9.4 hotfix drivers XD)
I am also having a problem with saved games, Had the same thing happen a while back but cant remember what I changed to fix it. I've dumped the game and I am redownloading right now (thru steam). I have also put the question out on every forum I could find. Still no answer as of yet. Will let you know if I get one. Or if anybody can help that would be great!

crashes for me as well on start up "with patch installed". fresh install including the deleting of ALL SHOC files\ reinstall, game patch 1.00005, installed SMM, installed complete 2009 base,(game still works fine) installed patch both with giving patch priority and not (crash on start up) (vista 64 enterprise) uninstall patch and it works fine?
i took the easy way out and installed it with SMM but still no work?

dont use SMM, it will crash your game
The Author of the mod said that himself , go to the official site and read it, has many other tips and whatnot

ok so what worked to install the patch was dragging the gamedata folder directly on top of the base instillation gamedata. i choose to merge all files as prompted \ replaced all files as prompted \ but choose to skip moving thumbnail (prob has nothin to do with it?)
and it works!!! and with save game from original save game from base instillation
i did not us SMM for the base install, just moved gamedata folder
i hope this helps some of you? (for some reason it does not state this in readME files and i found with TES oblivion that coping\merging files like that caused crashes or question marks in game. i read this info from Strategy Informer )
after looking at some of these pictures i thought "wow, did they really make it look this good?" I was proven right and surprised by how many other mods were placed perfectly throughout this game. This mod boosted the replay ability two fold! thanks for this amazing update/total conversion, i'm going to pass it along to my friends ^_^
never got the "good" ending as promised nor the dialog option to continue game in freeplay ???
just the same old vanilla ending
