I miss the installer. FLMM is the crap that everyone else uses. :(
Indeed I want the installer back, I don't care if i have to download the whole thing again. I just want the installer back, and the wide screen client they had for 1.4. NEED WIDE SCREEN! I can't play this mod without it due to my current setup.
in your shortcut add -dx to the end of it. It will set FL to your desktop resolution.
How can I do that if I start the mod through the FLMM?
You go to the EXE folder, right click>create shortcut then drag that to the desktop and then add -dx to the end of the target when you edit the shortcut's properties.
Mine looks like this:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Freelancer\EXE\Freelancer.exe" -sserver.freelancer-swwt.com:2302 -dx

Why is when I try to get freelancer from the EXE file to run it says that DACOM.dll was not found? How do I get shattered worlds to run?

the fact that it used to install without FLIMM was AWESOME.
Nothing really against FLIMM, its just a pain if you use multiple mods.
Please consider releasing a version with the installer included[if possible, you may have made crazy changes in its structure]

Yes capital ships are flyable. However they are limited to established factions. So if you want to fly one come play the game and join a faction.
are you thinking about adding more ships in the future or just possibly new guns?
