PLEASE NOTE: You MUST use the gluh2_bsp2.exe engine bundled with this mod, other versions of HoT do not support BSP2 maps
Also make sure music type is set to "All Codecs" to hear the spiffy new music tracks included if you hear midi/no music by default
Featuring 3 maps and full coop support. A host of new enemies and puzzles to discover.
Installation:
Extract to your base hexen 2 directory, make sure to delete opengl32.dll or the engine won't run.
If you want to change the new keybinds open up autoexec.cfg and you can modify them there.
Make a shortcut to Shadows of Chaos.bat, or make a shortcut to gluh2_bsp2.exe and add "-game SoC" to the target box

This mod, along with GoT is the greatest thing to happen to the Quake 1 engine since Portal of Praevus.
Played through this as the Paladin, and this is some good work you've done here, man. If the rest of the game will be more of this, I'm looking forward to the final version! I really enjoyed the visual effects near the end of the demo, too. Some nice stuff in there.
I'm sure a mod of this quality will inspire more people to start modding Hexen II.
Thanks for the kind words, I put a lot of effort into making a polished experience. IMO hexen 2 is a great platform, it just needed larger map support (which it has now) and a bit of a push i think.
