interesting idea:
have some mods specify values in the lua script that can be changed by through the mod manager in a mod settings section.

Yeah thats was my intent but each player will need to use the same settings for online games just keep this in mind, ill be working on some settings over the weekend, so if anyone has a idea for a setting apart from build costs and speeds post it up ill see if it can be done.

could I get a toggle for those textures added in 2.0 that lay on the terrain below factories, etc.
I don't love the look of those.
It would also be nice to have a toggle for starting with 2 engineers
maybe a setting for unit movement speed if that's possible. things seem kind of slow now

Yes i can add a option for that.

Removing the mods causes the game to no longer launch. If I add the mods back it is able to launch but even after a game.pref reset it is unable to launch the vanilla SC2.

Any error messages or does it just generically crash?

There was an error message and it filed a crash report but I dont know how to submit it.

"Attention Windows 7 users!"
"Ensure you have Internet Explorer 9 or above"

The only IE is useful for in the slightest is activeX controls and there are better alternatives then that.
(I am one of those ppl that removed IE the moment I grabbed a better browser)

I primarily use Chrome but 3rd party browser integration with C# is a bit trickier and the alternatives I tested were either no longer supported or were considerably buggy.

Google chrome and my anti-virus software is telling me that this file is a virus. :(

Send an imgur link of the warning. I'm curious why the previous version has never been flagged.

Don't worry about warnings from AVs because the mod manager is made by a unknown developer it doesn't mean its a virus!

I keep getting virus warnings. Windows Defender is labeling it as a Trojan for some reason.

It might be because of the call out to an external site for version checking/update functionality. Frankly, I'm not sure how to mitigate this. There's no malicious embedded code or calls. If concerned you can always ask for feedback from the rest of the community. Thanks!

Every time i start the mod manager it says an exception occurred with a long coding list and a dump file saying a "logic error or missing database..." .

Ive reinstalled the manager at least 3 times through my use of playing SC2 with mods already.

Any way to make the function to the local PC? I can't get the access code from google because of the Chinese blocking.

This upcoming release will have a debug menu which will allow you to select a local or remote version of jQuery which is almost certainly what you're encountering

Why is it detected as a virus by windows defender ?

The check for updates function trips the heuristic engine in Defender. It *may* go away with the newer updater code I plan on including in the next release

I can't get the mod manager to ready ANYTHING. Been trying for over an hour now. I put the files on the desktop, like instructed. When I open MM, and go to Desktop, the files are not there.
