Sandpit v3.3 (.zip) Extract to steamapps\common\Half-Life\
The most important change is to fix a few missing UI strings added in the recent updates to Half-Life. The Detail Textures option doesn't quite work at the moment because it's behind some other options but Valve are aware and say they will fix it.
The mouse seems to get reset in menus too but this needs to be further investigated.
If there are any more problems caused by the latest updates let me know.
Changelog:
- Updated the detail textures for Half-Life, Half-Life Blue Shift and Half-Life Opposing Force.
- Simplified manual (work in progress).
- Recompiled Half-Life models to not use external textures. This means more models can be precached by the engine (thanks for the idea SixCentGeorge).
- Removed WON support (this is more of a symbolic thing as Sandit apparently doesn't work with WON Half-Life anyway).
- Updated the UI text files to support some of the new strings introduced in recent updates to Half-Life.
i dont see half life in my common folder, i ONLY see Counter strike global offensive
Has Half-Life updated recently for you? If not, verify your cache maybe.
If yes, I found that the update put my Half-Life install in steamapps/<user>/Half-Life and I had to reinstall it to get it in the correct steamapps/common/Half-Life path.

Only the Steam version.
I don't use the WON version so I can't test it or make any guarantees about it working. People have told me that later versions don't work with the WON version though.

If that's in reference to Sandpit not working with the WON version, the WON version really isn't well-suited to this kind of mod. For a start a lot of engine limits have been lifted in the Steam version (and it looks like they'll be lifted again) so it's possible to make more entities spawnable. If it worked on WON, the Steam version would be better.

Which mod are you uninstalling? Sandpit or Go-Mod?
Sandpit has been around since before Go-Mod anyway.
How do you download it without Desura?
Whereabouts are you trying to download it from? If I go to Moddb.com and click Download Now it downloads in my browser.
