Trying to start a server just kicks me back to the menu and trying to join a server elicits a "Version mismatch" error. :\

The most recent version is 1.8 (from 2009)
I download it, but inside the arena folder i can't find the archive Ra3.exe for launch the game.. :( anyone can help me ?
