Description
This program fixes some of the common problems people have after installing the Ridder Clan Mod via Desura, or due to other versions of windows. It is only required if you die after 3 minutes in-game, or if the game fails to launch correctly. Please PM the team if you are having issues after trying this fix. Make sure to send us the .log file that the Fix EXE generates.

Just downloading here should work for the Desura thing as well, just make sure you link it to the location the mod is installed :)

first of all i need to thank you for the great job you've done with this mod!! ;)
I just have a problem, the AI in single player, in skirmish, usually don't attack each other, they just stare at one another.
Is there any way that i can fix this?
And another thing, is there any way for me to get less cp available? When the AI has almost all the map (i play defense)their troops are just gigantic and the game starts to slow down a lot...
Another issue i've spotted is the AI constantly spawn scouts (scouts for isengard and gondor, and possibly rohirrim for rohan) and because of the numbers I think they spawn regardless the comand points availiable)

AI in singleplayer not attacking each other? odd, last i checked i did, but ok :P
Less CP, you should be able to change that in the map setup.
The scout issue is indeed confirmed, will need to fix that one :P

Uhh.. well you need to find a way to download it, otherwise I can't really help you fix it. You can always try to make sure that when installing the mod that you are an administrator, that tends to solve the problem as well :)

Check that game2.dat is in the installation directory, it may be that it is unable to continue due to that. Which one are you trying to launch, singleplayer or multiplayer?
am i supposed to install this in the main battle for middle earth folder or just anywhere?

An upgrade mask references upgrade_TREESTART, which is not an Upgrade. That is what I got after installing the fix above.

My stupid antivirus detected singleplayer and multiplayer .exe as a virus and deleted them... I utoavent tried yet to use desura to recover them hope i can but can i know why was that? Probably an odd bug but it happened meanwhile i was in a game.... Realy weird.. Hope desura can help me restore the files
This mod is fantastic but when I play after 10 minutes the mod get crash! Why?I play as Gondor vs 2 medium enemies (Isengard and Rohan)

Sadly a glitch, it should be non present in any future release, we had to rewrite all the code to make sure it didn't occur anymore, we don't have any debugging tools to find the actual cause, so we can't fix it in the alpha release.
When will you release the new version?

my game now crash and return to desktop 2x and for some reason when i open it again it wont start anymore when i click singplayer???????????

It might be your computer's antivirus deleting the spgame.dat, if that is the case you might need to either restore it, or follow the instructions on how to use the multiplayer one :)
Is there a step by step process on how to download it? Also does this mod work for the expansion?

Well it doesn't get in the way of other mods, if thats what you mean, but no BFME is not flexible enough to actually easily allow multiple mods...
Hey I am new to modding with Lotr Bfme2. I know how to get maps but with these kind of mods I have trouble. I saw an tutorial for LOTR S.E.E and I loved it. But is there a way where you can give a step by step tutorial on how to install this to game. Looks amazing (: . P.s does this run with S.E.E? hate to choose
Sadly it does not run with SEE, but it is a standalone game/mod, so you don't have to overwrite any files from the base game, which should mean SEE works as well. The installation is pretty straight forward, download the alpha version, and try to run it, if it doesn't work, go and download the fix, as you can see here, and run that to fix most problems. (If that doesn't work ask for help on revora, or send me a message here)
Is the MOD that I download from Desura safe? Will I get any viruses from it??

This fixer should fix it if you are not running into this problem with BFME 2.
I downloaded this and it starts but I play for 10 seconds then it says, "Defeated". How can I fix this?
Are you playing a faction that supports BFME 1 mode?
I turned off BFME1 mode. I am playing as the Elves against Rohan if it helps.
