does this mod not work with the ra3 game from the ultimate collection, because every time i try to load it from desura, it goes to origin and then im on the default version of RA3. Help?

okay so i don't care how old this game is this its fun and i still play it my question is i just want to create my own mod and all i want is balance the game ( like editing the weapon damage) but I HAVE LITREALLY NO IDEA HOW TO MOD THIS GAME i searched the net for a couple tutorials but found nothing i i installed MOD SDK FOR RA3 but it keeps crashing (i don't think it is working anymore on new windows op's) SO DEAR MOD MAKERS AND THE PERSONS HAVE KNOWLADGE ABOUT THIS can you chow me how to do edit just the weapon stats or give an alternate mod tool for this game thank you. sry for my bad english
rather overrated mod, you have to make it to the near end of the match to see any of the new stuff, and still...nothing worth writing home about. like nothing radically different from vanilla. I accidentally started playing the game without the mod and didnt notice I did so until I took a closer look at the vanilla protocols.
