I'm guessing this fixes the problem with the cutscenes for people who don't know how to do it manually?

@TheRenegadist

To answer your question:

Yes, cutscenes problems are solved in this patch.

Many more problems such as the traps tutorial on map 15 (Ravenholm15) is also fixed. When I investigated the problem, I found out that some entities would not fire (launch) correctly, so I had to decompile the 15th level and make a few adjustments to make it work correctly.

Other UI display problems were due to the fact that version 1.0 of this mod (see the download page) uses an older version of several resource files, which are responsible for displaying the panels. I substitued a recent version of these in the patch, so that the menu would appear correctly.

Thank you for writing this down. And please, let me know if you have any other questions.

@Dune_Jumper

When you will have played through, could you confirm if the patch works well, and if not, tell me where you encounter problems?

Criticism & suggestions are always welcome.

Does this fix the weird hanging error message around one of the helicopter fights?

@dethtoll

I am afraid I have no ideas what this hanging error message is all about. When playing through the helicopter section (near the end), I did not see any kind of problem.

Please, would you mind describing this particular problem a bit more in details?

Thank you for your interest.

During the helicopter fight, one of the buildings with a blown-out wall has a single large error message just hanging there like some kind of weird ugly ghost. It doesn't break the game any, but it is kind of immersion-breaking.

@dethtoll

It appears that a model could not be found. When the game cannot find a particular model, this "error" model is displayed as a placeholder.

In this patch, this problem should be gone, as no users reported any missing model, except for textures, which were fixed after I updated this patch a few days ago.

Thank you for your interest.

Quick update:

If you get missing textures, which is highly possible, then you should download the patch again, which contains a new fix. Players should no longer have missing textures (purple checkers).

Apologies made for this issue.

Thanks to @Dune_Jumper for pointing this out and being such a cooperative acolyte.

Whell I have few
1. You create all SourceSDK2013 fix patches for broken mods? I need to thank you if yes. You solve a lot of problems that I dont know how to deal.
2. You can create a scene.image file that incorporate multiple mods? (If I put 2 mods in the same folder, combining them, in stead of having 2 scene.image files that I need to change betwen them when I want to play to have only one that integrates .vcd files from both mods).
If you are curious why I'm asking please go to this link. Cinematicmod.com

@AlexDC2013

If you want to allow multiple scene.image files for a single mod, such as the one you stated, then source code will need to be recompiled with your modifications to incorporate this functionality.

This is Fake factory's cinematic mod you are speaking about? I am afraid it's creator has not released the source code for this mod. I recommend that you speak to him about this functionality you desire.

If you have other questions, please let me know.

@Beg85

I assume you are speaking about the second episode of the unfinished Ravenholm sequel, Eye of the Storm.

Moddb.com

I am not the creator, and I do not plan on finishing the second episode, as my current focus is to patch released Singleplayer Source engine mods that still require SteamPipe fix (Source SDK 2013).

If you have other questions, please let me know.

Thank you for your interest.

This is a false positive. You will need to add the file to your
exclusion list (Specify the antivirus to treat this file as normal).

After installation of the last version (01_06_19) there is still "Could not load library client" problem when launching the mod.
Maybe there are some additional conditions for the normal run? For example, Half-life 2 should be "beta", or Episode Two should be installed, or original gameinfo.txt in sourcemods/RavenholmNCZ directory should be edited?
Because by default (mod is installed in "sourcemods" without any further edits, this fix is installed according the instruction - in Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer folder, etc.) it actually doesn't work.
Thanks in advance!

Edit. OK, I understood: the original mod should be installed in Source SDK Base 2013 Singleplayer folder as well. And accordingly running the game from Tools\Source SDK Base 2013 (not Games\Ravenholm). I think it should be noted in all your patch instructions.

Didn't need a patch, just created a new gameinfo.txt and played the game in it's full 2006 glory, although still nice for trying to keep the sourcemod alive, bravo.
