game won't launch :(
after i click on launch game nothing happens.. the launcher disappears but the game wont start.
just played as the Greeks and crashed about ten turns in. also i'm assuming their is a reason my port doesn't have ships available? also sometimes after a certain barracks is built their aren't any units available to be built anymore. maybe this is just the minor factions?
everything worked great until I installed the patches?

Every time I choose to start a new campaign it crashes when I click on the faction left of Sweden
i noticed whilst playing as the minor nations on this mod that i couldnt recruit any generals, dont know if this is a bug or not but if it isnt i was wondering if it may be possible to add in generals for the playable minor nations such as greece
how come I crash every time I click campaign?
Me and my friend have the same version and we checked and made sure all our folders matched but whenever we try and join each-other's game it says they are incompatible versions. Does multiplayer just not work for this mod?

Hi guys i have NTW 1.3 (update), i downloaded all The Great War file but it crash & no works. If I put great's files ''_Great..'' in data folder the game start (clicking ntw normal launcher, blue icon) with MOD but i play with normal units LOL... wtf???? mod work only for steam? i have no-steam copy.
Hello, thanks for the mod, been dreaming of a true WWI game for nearly 10 years... Should have guess it would come from the mod community ! I've patched the game twice (up to 5.1.3) but the ''about'' option still show 5.1.0 ! Also, my game always crash around 51st turn with France ! Thanks a lot for the help, give us a new big patch soon that fix all this stuff !!!
Still crashes in campaign for Russia and France in the early 1916. It's a pity, really.

I really love what I have seen in this mod so far. I thank you all for the hard work and endless research in building it. I just wish I could make it past one battle without a crash. Please keep working on it and updating it so I can enjoy this game.

Why does my launcher read 5.1.2 when I've installed 5.1.3?
too many people have asked where to put this files and no on is answering....I presumed and copied it into my "Data" folder where they replaced 3 files and added 2 new files,now I am not sure if I installed this patch correctly because it is still crashing at turn 30.....again can we please have an answer how to properly and correctly apply this patch?

My campaign game for this mod would not go beyond the spring of 1915. It just kept crashing. Need some help with that.

Could you guys release an alternate scenario where no-one starts at war with each other? I want to see how the world becomes shaped without scripted wars.
Also, the French seem a bit overpowered. (In my games, the Germans don't take a single territory from the French, and then the French end up killing everyone.) Also, the British don't seem to do much at all.
For anyone having a crash in the start of your turn during middle of campaign, I got this problem when I finished researching "improved field artillery"; it seems that it cannot co-exist with any level 2 or above industrial buildings, you can destroy those building to get the technology to work, but then you won't be able to research technologies beyond it. So it is either tech or building (or crash).
These are some situations...
having level 2 or above industrial building: crash after research finishes (start of turn)
having tech finished and upgrade/convert an industrial building: crash after building finishes (start of turn)
capture a level 2 industrial building from another country: crash after pressing end-turn
conclusion: they just cannot occur together
(I suggest keeping the buildings and prevent researching the tech, as "improved field gun" is an intermediate tech that enables other techs, which are not available anyway as they also require industrial building)
