There isn't going to be a 1.0 he's done with this mod it has gotten to the point where he just doesn't want to do it anymore else he never would of released this version because he is a perfectionist.

Whatever. Maybe with sometime it happens... Through a very long period of time maybe.
But even with this version it is clear that this mod is chic and I ready to wait as much as it needs. :)
And for me it's actually ok that he focused now on other mod. I like it too. xD

I highly recommend you to follow the Old Republic: Ultimate War mod (in construction) as well. Looks promising, i helped on it a little, and the devs are awesome.

Hey Jeroenimo. Just downloaded this and have tried multiple times to install. The readme says to put the ORAW folder into the mod directory but the ORAW is a zip file and the only folder is the Data folder. Not sure what to do here. Tried creating a ORAW folder and put the Data folder into it with no success. It doesn't create a ORAW folder. Going to try and overwrite the files in the 2013 version. I'll get back to you. Thanks by the way. My favourite era is the Old Republic and although you haven't got the heart to finish this incredible mod I'm grateful that you've released what you had. :)

Edit: Unable to overwrite the 2013 to get the mod running. Get a "Perception parsing" error of some sort.

Create a folder to the Mods folder, name it ORAW and extract all files there.

Edit: damn, sorry.
Maybe try deleting or moving the old version from the folder and then extracting the new one in there?

Done all that. I only installed the 2013 version and tried extracting the latest version in there after everything else I could think of didn't work. Done a fresh install of the game and going to see if it works. Have you got it working?

EDIT: It seems that with any other mods installed it won't start. Even with a full, fresh reinstall. This may be only my system but after deleting all other mods and creating a ORAW folder to extract the latest version into it works. Confusing as to why it won't work with other mods installed. Hopefully it's only my system. Sorry for the fuss, guys.

I just created a folder and began the extracting process with the rar in oraw folder. Shouldn't make a difference, though from where you extract it. Everything worked just fine. Corrupted download maybe?

Edit: Other mods might have overwritten some main game files. I know for one FOC Alliance did that so I had to make 2 separate FOC folders one for vanilla + mods & other for FOC Alliance.

I had a modification set around the New Republic era and the Krayt Empire installed. It seems to have corrupted the game files each time I installed it so that must have been where the problem came from. Sorry Jeroenimo. Problem was on my end.

Hey no problem. What might be an issue is if you're running the 64 bit version of windows 7 or vista, luckily there's a fix for that. Google Forces of corruption windows 7 ram fix and you should find it.

Hm, almost all projectiles become so tiny and faint, they are barely visible now. Unless you zoom in, it's even hard to see between which ships combat engagement takes place. Is this a bug or a new feature?

Someone actually posted helpful info about their question, even in the form of pictures to demonstrate what they mean! Man I wish more people were like you. This is so much more helpful than the usual random questions I get where sometimes you don't even know exactly what the poster means. This helps me see if it's the same as my game or if you're actually having a bug.

That being said, it is intended to be this way. Primary reason being that the camera angle is set to be quite high, since you can zoom in but not zoom out further than the default starting position, I want people to be able to see what's going on (nothing more annoying than having no clue what's happening) and if they want to see more detail they can zoom in however far they like.

Second reason is that I actually like the new projectile size a bit more, I tried to make ships feel a little larger by having smaller projectiles.

I agree about the size of projectiles, but you can make them more flashy and briter like in your Re-mod. So the player can actualy see and feel the power of salvos from multiple batteries on Leviathan for example. Anyway, I used your flashy projectile add-on to rewrite the new ones and it works well for me.

If you want to, you can compile the files (xml, models and textures) and upload it somewhere for me to download, I'll upload it as an add-on for people to use if they like.

Hi there.

My FOC is through steam, and I've put everything in the right folder. Though when I try to launch through the shortcut as per your instructions, it says the path wasn't found (mainly because it's searching my C drive, and my games are on my F: drive.) How can I launch the mod another way?

...ohhh this question, why do people keep asking this question, even when it's answered all over...

edit the shortcut...

Is anyone else having trouble with the game crashing on them? It seems like every time I go into a space battle the game crashes to desktop on me. I'm not sure, but I suspect that it is happening because of the Leviathan shooting. I can get into the battles just fine, but during the beginning of a battle when fighting the sith the game will freeze for a second and then crash. I'm gonna try to play as the sith and keep the Leviathan out of combat and see what happens.

Edit:It is not the Leviathan. Played as the sith and the game crashed during the beginning of the space battle even without the Leviathan present. Gonna try putting in a clean install of the mod next.

Same advice as always with crashes, clean reinstall of the game, then a clean reinstall of the mod.

Thanks for releasing what you have done. I look forward to playing it!

If I had the skill I would help finish this mod, but alas, I don't have the knowledge of EAW's code and Chemistry Degrees eat into your free time.

Best wishes!

Jeroenimo, awaseome mod as always, great work mate!
Although I haven't run through any bug yet, there is one thig I'd like you to know: Trying to raid a mandalorian controlled planet crashes the game with an exception error, thus making it impossible to raid those planets. I've tried rading the republic and works fine, so far the crash has happened on Shola and Geonosis at the early stages of GC.
Also, the text for "Removing corruption" is missing, but i can live with that ;)
Edit: After invading Shola the conventional way,I decided to begin my land invasion, I deployed three regular sith troopers squads and the other type of squad ( which I suppose it's a heavy squad, since the description is the same as the regular one). The " heavy squad " deploys infinite troopers, yeah infinite, unless it's on purpouse that they spawn more than 1500 troops ;)

I found a bug. You can't destroy enemy transports in Galactic Conquest, and the Mandolorians are VERY overpowered, i don't know if the Mando's are suppose to be but they are very strong on EASY, and they can magically build a lot of those battleships, i had several battles were i was struggling to build several Valors, but the enemy attacked me with 3 Kandosii (I think i splt that right :\) and 5 of those other battleships i mean COME ON! Also like i said a good chucnk of Mando troop transports tried to invade a planet that i had a large fleet (over 20 hammerheads) and i was happy cause i figured this would be a cake walk, auto resolved... 5 hammer heads destroyed, i reloaded a auto save and started it my self and found out that you can't destroy the transports but they can still shoot you... Yeah that's a problem.

Not a question to the creator but a general one to help this simple TOR fan.

Downloaded the original release and did some tweaks and it works beautifully.

Downloaded the final version and placed it in a new folder under MODS, so the ORAW folder and ORAW1 folder. I launch from the new folder and things work fine, but no indication of any changes. No galactic conquest mode. Same thing with skirmish. Did I miss a step? It looks like no update has been made.

Help please? You guys helped me out the first time around in enjoying this incredible work, hoping you can do so again.

If all else fails, what you can do to make it work is to make a copy of all the files in your main FOC directory (as a back up), and leave the originals in the directory, and copy over all the mod folders/files, and replacing them in the directory. i use this method with all mods that I use. but make sure the mod files are replacing the original files, and not the other way around.
