A 'bonus' mission for Nexus:The Aurora Affair.
Here's a little something for all of you folks who're patiently waiting for my mods release.
Firstly, many thanks to Geomodder for coming up with the general idea behind this mission.
I had originally planned this release for October, when my mod reached it's first development birthday. But alas, my skills at the time were not enough to vanquish the bugs. However, times have changed and I now present to you my first interactive, fully playable Nexus mission. Hopefully, there shouldn't be any bugs, but if you do find any then please let me know (either by posting here or drop me an email at draconicdreams@hotmail.co.uk ) and I'll take the appropriate measures.
Now, about the mission...
After many long months of searching, Rogue intelligence have located the ship 'TDF Starseeker' laying at rest within the Dralin wreckyard. Rounding up the surviving members of the Starseeker's crew and enlisting the aid of commander Sweetwater, Dimieter sets off in a modified shuttle to recover the lost ship.
Now go find out whether they succeeded or not...

question, I know you run vista(you said in another post), have you been able to use the multiplayer with vista? My Nexus always crashes. I think it has something to do with the build in voice server of Nexus.

I haven't really played any mp games. I remember trying some months back, but my laptop (XP) wouldn't play becuase I'd unpacked Nexus and I think my main system (Vista) just wouldn't allow me to actually connect to a game.
We were using Hamachi, I could load up the MP interface and see the game hosted by someone else... I just couldn't connect to it.
I'll look into it again though. Here's a couple of nexus related forums you can ask in too...

Wow, this mission was pretty cool, voice overs and all :). Unfortunately if the mission fails when u get discovered the game fades to black and freezes. Any idea why? I'm running on win 7.
Also, and this is nit picking, the "blind" areas at the nav points do not extend all around the asteroid, i was expecting the asteroid itself to cover the ship's energy signature so i plotted manual nav points around it and i still got discovered by the station even though i navigated around the asteroid. Is that a bug or a feature :)?
Tnx for this mission, it was fun ! Hope to see more missions soon, maybe 2011 is the magic year? I see the last post here is 2 yrs old and that concerns me :(... Are u still there?
