I have heared about this engine on AM Forums, why he have cancelled this project?

Umm, it works, but after level change i got a crash...btw, in order to play you need this dlls :

Place it where your hl.exe placed.
It's not legal, it violates the terms of use by Valve.
Same thing with Xash3D.
Xash3D is legal, just using HL content in it is not. This mod is legal, the source code of the GoldSRC engine is fully available for modifying it all you want, as long as you're not selling it.
And the funny thing is, It got taken down do to using hl2 stuff.
WHY NOT FOUND????
I managed to run this mod (firstfight.bsp) using opengl32.dll from Half-Life FX v1.0 (I replaced original opengl32.dll with it). Maybe it will be helpful for someone. Works both for WON & Steam, but for WON version without detailed textures. To run mod create a shortcut for hl.exe with "hl.exe -game nextgen" parameter (nextgen here is a folder's name of the mod). Included bat-files didn't worked for me on Steam HL.
Also I had a problems with freezes & crashes of original HL maps under new engine because of some bin-files included in Maps/hulls directory. After removing them all ran fine.
P. S. I recommend you to put decals.wad from Developer/valve folder directly to the mod's folder. There are no reasons to replace original file in valve folder, as mentioned in Readme.

idk because i never tried it because it had: COOKIES, A TROJAN AND A VIRUS WHO THE HELL WILL RISK THIER COMPUTER FOR A FEW DAYS JUST TO PLAY A MOD IF PEOPLE CAN'T MAKE A MOD THAT HAS VIRUSES IN IT THEN DON'T MAKE A MOD AT ALL!!!!!
