There are 7 triggers:
1. Trigger the player's tasks (ObjectiveTrigger)
2. The localized task trigger for the player (LocalizeObjectiveTrigger)
3. The trigger for moving objects and the player, i.e. teleport (MoveEntityTrigger)
4. Trigger player equipment (EquipmentTrigger)
5. Trigger leading NPC along the route (LeadAITrigger)
6. Test Trigger
7. Material trigger (MaterialTrigger)
In the mod there is a test card "New Triggers" with a demonstration of all the functions of the triggers.
Installation:
Installation is simple. In the archive, the contents of the folder "IN GAME FOLDER" throw in the very folder with the game, agreeing to replace the files. It is recommended to make a backup copy replaceable files.
Run the editor: Go to the path "Far Cry/Mods/NewTriggers/" and run Editor.bat, then on the road check the map "Far Cry/Mods/NewTriggers/Levels/NewTriggers/NewTriggers.cry "and learn how these new triggers are built and run. Enitity / Triggers.
Run the game: Go to "Far Cry/Mods/NewTriggers/" and run Game.bat, then open the console in the main menu by pressing the ~ tilde key (Ё). And enter this command "\ map NewTriggers" and press Enter, after the test the map is loaded in the game and you can check the operation of the new triggers.
Trigger Descriptions
1. Trigger player tasks, this is the main tool for each mission, with it you can add new tasks for the player, make them complete or clear them in the player's task list (by holding Tab), also add messages that are to the right of the radar, subtitles at the top of the screen, well, and the very point of the radar, to know the player where to go, in addition, with this trigger you can complete the mission level and move on to the next. It still has the opportunity to kill the player instantly, despite the fact that the player can be in the mode of immortality GOD.
2. The localized task trigger for the player has the same functionality as the normal player task trigger, different in that with this trigger you can display the message or the player's task with Russian letters. The trigger simply assigns the @ symbol at the beginning, which means that the text will be localized. Use it if you need Russian tasks and messages for the player. If in another language, then use the usual player task trigger.
3. The trigger for moving objects and the player, allows you to move (teleport) objects (including NPC) from one point to another, with the player the same. This trigger can be useful in some moments of mission creation.
4. Trigger equipment player gives the player certain types of weapons, as well as a flashlight, a night vision device, binoculars, access cards, certain types of cartridges and grenades.
5. Trigger leading NPC along the route will give you the opportunity for the NPC to follow strictly the route that you give him. For example, you can follow a friendly NPC, which will go strictly along the route (in the original game, at the level of "Swamp", where it was necessary to follow Valerie, meant that for her was laid the route by which she passed the whole level). NPC, which moves along the route you set, through this trigger, always runs, but does not go). This trigger may be needed for some of your missions, where you have to follow the NPC in the story. It is not excluded that it is possible to make a route for the enemy. For example, for an NPC that will run to the evacuation point if it finds a player.
6. Test Trigger. This trigger does not have its name except for testing, but with it you can do three things: 1. Change the speed of the game, make slow and fast speed in the game. 2. Change the speed of movement of the player. 3. Attach the player to the object. For example, you need to attach a player to a helicopter, which will fly somewhere and you need to shoot back. You may need these functions of this trigger for your missions.
7. The material trigger allows you to overlay the Entity object with another material and texture. For example, make the NPC transparent, wooden, or draw boxes, stone and so on.
