I'm unable to play the game it starts but the menu and stuff is all super huge and it's hugging the right side of my screen any advice? Also I'm playing on Windows 8 might that have something to do with it?

Iwould like to give you a ten but i have to wait a week.
Circa two month ago i loaded 303. In Mission mw2_9_1_LastFrontier it is not possible to get the Kodiak. 2nd Attempt: it is not possible to get the Kodiak and the dropship is also dissapeared.
You are still on it (304), that makes me screaming.
PS: I installed my old MC2, looked for patches and find you. So Happy!!

So the single-player works great, I'm happy to report. But when we're doing LAN (or any other multiplayer mode, for that matter) it says "You don't have the map(TM) and it crashes every time. Am I missing something?

The game codes does not include multiplayer. The mod was made with single player in mind anyway.
The work is impressive but not playable for me.Not enough c-bills to go on. Need it a bit easier for an old noob.
Salvage stuff, and reduce your weight limit when deploying, it saves 10k cbills per 5 tons,
the cbills you take with you on missions, you get back, so bring plenty incase of salvage, ohh and you need a free pilot to salvage mechs
I am trying to get this to work in Multiplayer... but LAN is gray, and direct IP crashes, says I don't have the map?? any help? thanks

Great Mod. However, when I try to create my own mission in the MCO Mission Editor it crashes. It happens every time when I attempt to save the mission I have created. Could anyone please help me with this?

Hey Guys. I need some help to get the game started. I´ve downloaded the game already and installed it, but if i am starting MCOrel the window is closing immedeatley.

- installed Network Frame 2.0
- insatlled Network Frame 4.5.1
- installed Visual C++ 2005, 2008, 2010
- installed XNA Build System
even tried compatibility mode for XP, 98, 2000, nearly everything ....

I have had the same problem. I just got a new machine and don't have access to my old game. There is a work around but I cant remember it. It has something to do with the way Alienware is set up. You have to go into the properties function and add something.
Magic or anyone else know what you need to add to the properties page to get the program to run. It starts, flashes a blank screen and then stops. Thanks.
Hi, I am having a problem when I try to create a mission were there are enemies with Escort brains. When I try to lunch the mission the game crashes and get an error message that says:
STOP : SYNTAX ERROR data\missions\warriors\testescort.abl [line 11] - (type 38) Missing module "testescort"

Why there is no carver V campaign? is it a different MCO that I have to download? do I have to install MCO over my existing copy of MC2?

I have only one issue: I have to change my screen resolution to 1024x768 every time I want to play the game...is there another way to make the game to fit the screen?
Supported resolutions are:
1920x1080
1680x1050
1600x1200
1440x900
1366x768
1280x1024
and 1024x768
Older resolutions 800x600 and 640x480 are no longer supported (If you use one of those the menus will be... ).
This sucks so hard. After 4 or 5 missions you still only lead 1 Mech to battle and always just to protect cars that are slautered by a bunch of enemies. Whoever made that priate campaign thougt it was funny to **** the player so hard. Its a tactical game, not a babysitting **** für transport vehicles. One lucky shot of the enemy and you can restart the mission. Cannot even customise the Mechs weapons and you get no money for completet missions, so you can barely afford repairing the Mechs. Not worth downloading.
Well, I guess you are referring to MW2 mercs campaign.
In first OP you have 2 missions - one campaign (1st) and one optional (you dont have to play). If you finish both with only one mech and pilot, you can, buy another light mech.
On OP2 you have only one mission for one light mech and one pilot.
OP3 - one campaign and one optional mission. Both can be played with 2 light mechs.
OP4 - one campaign mission to be played with one mech (Jenner) because you need second pilot to salvage one medium mech at the end of the mission.
After that you can play with two mediums and more...
You are correct, this is game of tactical combat. It is all up to your tactical decisions in logistics as well as in mission.

I've found that In Exodus campaign the game crashes after launching E_1_0 Unofficial Mission. the error log says:
Variant Number 1 does not exist for mech data\objects\thug.csv. Please set variant in editor!
I'm not too good at editing and modding...how can I fix that mission?
Have you changed mech variant files?
On the same error message box just click continue.
It worked by pressing continue, duh.. thank you!
