Description

Install Instructions: 1. Extract contents into your sourcemods folder (default location: C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\sourcemods). 2. Restart steam. 3. "Lambda Wars" should now appear in your games list. If you do not have "Alien Swarm" installed, it will ask you to download it upon launching the mod.

I just got around to downloading the last version that took like 5 hours thanks to moddb and I really dont feel like downloading it again currently. Will I be missing anything good?

good to see more progress though

See the changelog in "read more". It's mainly bug fixes, updated maps and two new maps.

Next time you can try our mirror - its in the news post, or just go to lambdawars.com/getlatest.php - we prefer people use ModDB mirror because we don't have unlimited bandwidth, but our mirror tends to be faster.

This is a large part of the reason we're hoping for Greenlight - auto updates and Steam content servers and all that.

No, for auto updates we need first to pass Greenlight.

Ok, so I don't need the previous versions and this will work on SDK Source 2007, right?

The Lambda Wars requires you own Half-Life 2: Episode Two and Alien Swarm (is free) to play. Alien Swarm must be installed.

I own HL2 E2, Have Alien Swarm installed, have extracted lambdawars to C:\Program Files (x86)\steam\steamapps\sourcemods. Restarted Steam. Nothing in my games Library list. Any suggestions?

Check if the file "gameinfo.txt" exists in <pathtosteam>\SteamApps\sourcemods\lambdawars. If not, you extracted the files wrongly.
Maybe your extracting program did not unpack all the files.
