Make sure you have Unreal Tournament 2004 installed first. Then you must send the entire installation to the Unreal Tournament 2004 folder in your Program Files or (Depending if you have an 86* or 64-Bit operating system) Program Files x86. So it goes like this: C:/ Program Files x86/ Steam/ steamapps/ common/ Unreal Tournament 2004/ PLACE THE KF INSTALLATION HERE. This is a UT 2004, after all!

I don't really think so. I have't tinkered around with any of the files yet so I wouldn't know where to go with that sort of thing. If I find anything out, I'll be sure to let you know.
Goto www.killingfloor.freedomsnet.net and then to the forums for all help regarding installation and any other troubleshooting.

im havent exacly finished downloading yet.
but if you check their wiki and/or forums you'll find out out that you
1. apply the official 3369 patch
2. install the editors choise edition bonus pack
3.reapply the official 3369 patch
that should do it, worked for me on 2.0 and 2.1

3.go to the the system folder of the kfmod dir and,click with the right bottom of the mouse on the KILLING FLOOR.EXE,go on compatibilities and disable everything and click on apply
4.run the game
5.on the settings in-game,put everything on highest (except of the resolution)
6.play and have fun :)
worked for me on kf 1.0 :D

simple answer to all problems, Download the UT2004 Megapack it comes with the patch, the maps and makes Mods compatible with UT2004
Um, I have KF 2.5 installed, can I have KF 1.0 at the same time? Or do I have to move the 2.5 folder away when I wanna play 1.0? When I try to launch 1.0 from ut2004 community mods menu, it doesn't work..please help

Open steam, library, right click on "Unreal Tornament 2004", properties, general, set launch options, and put -mod=KFmod there.
or
Make a shortcut to the UT2004.exe, you can find it there ...Unreal Tornament 2004\System\ then right click to that shortcut, properties, target, and add -mod=KFmod.
If you want to play Unreal Tornament again then just remove -mod=KFmod

So i installed this mod and got this error,

E:\Steam\Steamapps\common\Unereal Tornament 2004\KFmod\System\UT2004.exe -mod=KFmod
I decided to put UT2004.exe into that folder, and it kinda worked but...
I got several errors with .dll files, i downloaded them all and got another error that i can't fix, 0xc000007b. I restarted my computer, tried to run it as administrator, even used compatibility mode. Nothing worked, so i decided to replace killing floor files with ut2004 ones, it also didn't work.
The solution was pretty simple
Create a shortcut to "...Unreal Tornament 2004\System\UT2004.exe" -mod=KFmod (you can name it "Killing Floor")

Another note for people who can't get this to run: You might need to launch it form within UT2004 itself. Open the main menu, click "community", then Killing Floor, then activate.
