Half-Life Overhaul Pack is a high-quality replacement pack for the standard Half-Life content. It was designed to play original Half-Life and singleplayer maps and mods with improved models and sounds. 180 high and super definition models + over 350 sounds are included. Most models are well-known, but they were thoroughly re-edited to bring them new style, functionality and compatibility. Please see Readme for the full information.

um ... ok i have a little problem , the pack works just fine as it is , but after i got at the end of lamda core (when i meat the security guard and the scientist) sounds start cutting off to the point where i can't even here my own footsteps ... the same thing happens with the Diamond Half-Life Final pack ... any way to fix this ?
It's not a problem of this pack, it's inner Half-Life issue.
hm ... so mo fix for it ha ? , oh well , it would be nice if someone would fix that at some point ... i've noticed half-life is kind of picky when it comes to changing sounds ...
hm, i was thinking of converting the sounds to a lower sample rate so that the game won't keep cutting scientist's / security guard speeches / other sounds in general, will that work ? and if yes, what's the best quality the game will accept as normal ? and what sample rates (stereo / mono / bits, pcm...) and stuff like that should i use ?
