No just enable DEV console and type sv_cheats 1 then type impulse 101 if this map works fo portal on that will work
yes you do you need half life 2 to actually get the maps and impulse 101 just gives you all the weapons

OMG! this is crazy why the heck i can't complete the download i tried all the mirrors using Firefox/IDM and when near at 63 percent to complete it sudden stopped :O w0ot! i got tired of 18x keep failing of downloading..
i have a small question- how to install this when i use normal program files folder?????? without gfcs?/i have all gfcs extracted and normal game normal running
is this a demo or all maps include ??

The only problem with this is it could cause glitches if you bipass some triggers. Other than that looks really kewl! Downloading now. :D

Is this the version that has normal textures?
Also, it appears that Half-LIfe 2 NPCs are unaffected by Portals, and that Portals will crash the game if you use them in Multiplayer. Still, I would like to import the Portal Gun in GMod and in normal Half-Life 2, instead of having to play a seperate Source Mod for it. Same thing for the Gravity Gun in ARGG (lets you rotate objects that you are holding)

IT APPEARS TH SETUP ARRY PROPS PROBLEM, I CHANGED THE VALUE ON TXT FILE TO 218 INSTEAD OF 211, BUT IS STILL CRASHING!

i just tried it again and i relized it is mising models
were did you get those models? ive tried source shared models portal models and hl2 models. still crashing =(

you gotta have steam and you gotta drag the Half life 2 Portal Folder in C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/sourcemods/ and then restart steam to make it appear on your games list
Where is the setup file?
there is none just put the Half life 2 Portal Folder in Program Files (x86)/Steam/steamapps/sourcemods/ and then restart steam because if you already have hl2 you will not need the maps when i downloaded it didn't have the hl2 maps in the maps folder of it but it still loaded up the maps but also if there are missing textures, models, etc. just merge the materials sounds and models folder (if there is a models folder) you usually can merge stuff by using 7-zip and just extracting the folders with the same name into the same directory and it should merge
