Using this patch you can run Ground Control 1 at any resolution.
Hey Voice, nice resolution fix, there is just one thing that bother me, I can´r run Ground control dark conspirety in full screen, but apart from that this does acctully work.
And when it comes to the icons and hud screen like the maps and the units card, they stay small like in the picture.
Is it possible to make them bigger? It whould make the game alot more user friendly.
I'll see what I can do. No promise though :)
ok, but let me know if you come up with something to fix this, the game deserve it ;)
I tried to fix this on my own but ended up to make ground control DC unable to run, I guess that I have to reinstall the DC epansion pack :(
Hmm, 188.8.131.52 [ENGLISH] Cracked EXE page (search google) says that it works fine also for DC. It does indeed work fine by itself, but when I apply my patch to it I get this error:
Just checking - do you also get this exact message?
Also weirdly enough it works at 1366x768.
No what i get is that despite it suppose to run GC DC the game run the main ground control game only GC and no full screen :( that happen when I try to run DC with the shortcut...
If you want DC, you should start it via shortcut placed in start menu/desktop. Alternatively, you must pass "-mod DARKCONS" as command line argument.
EDIT: Ok nvm.
my computer screen res is 1600x900
yes, I did that, still wont work...
I wouldn´t come in contact with you if it was that simple, but nevermind, the game is atleast playable. and It feels kind of offensive to ask you do more.
But i whould appriciate if you atleast give it another go.
By the way I found this fix by accident, it whould be nice if you upload your fix to other webites so it reach to more people. This GOG (good old game) game deserve it.

Got it to work... on the primary monitor. :)
I have a laptop, one's the native display (1600x900) and I have a monitor hooked up and it does 1680x1050.
I tried declare 1680x1050 and GC just crashed going "huh? What res is that?" (well, not the exact error, but basically DXRes failed or something like that)
Then I realized it probably used primary so I patched again with 1600x900 and it worked.
So this brings up the question... is there a way to force the EXE to come up on the 2nd monitor? (20 inch vs. 17 of the laptop) Do I like pick the 2nd video card from the res change dialog? Does that have ANY effect? :)
